Wellness Hotel Garni Krone in Baiersbronn

We took an apartment in this cosy hotel.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is near the train station.
It has a 15m heated swimming pool, sauna, salt room, special showers and steam room.
Really nice place to relax

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area. We’ve stayed there as a family twice and can highly recommend it! Very friendly staff, clean and well-kept hotel, and a delicious breakfast.

Exquisit place, friendly faces of owners waiting for you moment you walk through the door. They will take you for a round through hotel so you can see all the hidden jewels ( steam bathroom, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzi in terase, salt room, etc). Service is great, people are kind and they will make you feel as you are at home. There is a large menu for breakfast, so anyone can pick his favorite food. Rooms are very cosy and nice, top of all very clean. Nice bathrooms, bigvterasse to enjoyvthe sun and a lot more. Also, city of Baiersbronn can offer youva lot of interesting things to see. See you again, promise 😁

What a perfect experience. Every part of this place is an absolute joy. (There is one caveat but first the great)

Breakfast is beyond fantastic! There is something for everyone. Cured meats, varied assortment of cheeses, all types of jams and honeys and warm breads, various cereals, granolas and yogurts, eggs cooked many ways, salads, lox, pates, etc etc. Can't miss!

The spa is a tremendous treat! When you first enter the smell of chlorine will hit you but then it dissipates--it is VERY clean. Step into the nature shower for 4 different shower sensory sensations. I loved the look on my husbands face when I put him through the tropical rain storm. You'll see!!!
The pool isnt cold and about 5 feet deep. The liconiums have soaked up all the suns heat and are amazing to lie on while watching the sunset. The salt room is cool, moody and calming. The dry sauna is large! Smells wonderful, very hot and has some light music. For those who want to struggle breathing (haha), the wet sauna will not be hot enough for you, but for others it will be perfect! Likewise, the outdoor jacuzzi will not be super hot, a pleasant warmness. Wellspa system is another unique feature I have only seen here! Oh and while there isnt a cold plunge pool, there are two showers (one with three different pouring options-rain/waterfall/handheld) and there is also a spigot from which ice comes out. The water is amazing, for those from countries like the US with questionable tap water, water here is amazing.

The rooms are lovely with nice furnishings, tea and coffee and a multipurpose/convection microwave oven and fridge.
The only caveat is that we dont have a view in our room, but perhaps I was supposed to request thatwe have a balcony but it just faces another building. You just have to leave your room to be surrounded by the beautiful Black Forest.

The service is impeccable. The host (amazingly) speaks about five languages, but not English. However in preparation of our arrival, she had printed signs and notes in English. You also recieve a Black Forest guest card which includes 40+ free activities with daily events too! We may stay an extra day its so wonderful. Oh yeah....make sure you give yourself at least 3 nights here. Especially if you are on a month long trip like us, you'll appreciate the rest, food and amazing smelling air!!!!

It is a hidden germ in the Black Forest. Outside looks humble and you would feel it is pricing. However, when you get into your room and have the gorgeous breakfast, you feel good and your every penny here is well spent.

Very pleasant hotel, very friendly, for the carpet, 1 star deduction. Other: Note, important, if you want dinner and don't have a reservation as a hotel guest, you can't eat here. I didn't know that because it isn't written anywhere either. I arrived at 7:30 p.m., so I had to look around first in the closer area.

Friendly and trained staff, excellent dinner when booking half Board, the Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, large indoor pool, small Sauna. The room was clean, well equipped, but in the direction of the busy Federal road, thus traffic noise with the window open. The bathroom was in the 80-years-style, with a bit of funzeliger lighting, but clean. The Hotel has a very good price - performance ratio and can therefore be recommended in good conscience. Absolute Highlight is the catering.

Schönes Preis Leistungs Niveau. Schöne Extras, wie Hallenbad. Sauna, Wärmekammer, im Preis enthalten. Großes und frisches Frühstücksbuffet. Saunere Zimmer und eine geniale Dusche. Angestellte sind nett und hilfsbereit, aber ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig.
