A beautiful hotel, with immaculately kept gardens set nearby vineyards. Great place to relax, unwind and take walks around some beautiful countryside. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner at their restaurant.

The hotel is very lovely situated with a large park garden a terrace for beautiful days and evenings...the rooms are spacious and very clean. Personal is very nice and friendly and the family Baumann who runs the hotel restaurant is very helpfull.we try to stay there at least 2 times a year...

Not a serviceminded and friendly person in the reception. No information about the accomodation at all. I had to ask her about everything. Big difference since we were here in December. Then it was two extremly serviceminded guys who did a gray job. Why we game back once more. Not a good bed.

A very nice place stay, including wonderful biking in the area!

We spontaneously decided to spend a wellness weekend here. The hotel itself has been beautifully renovated in a modern style. Personally, we think the pool area is too small, the rooms are a good size and very clean, the bathrooms are great, but the pillows are far too thin and don't support you at all.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. We had an excellent view of the vineyards and castle too. The restaurant was excellent too - with friendly service and a wide choice of food.

Totally recommended. Please take your time to check bus availability and transport options because it's a few minutes from bahnhof but just have 1 bus journey and at night could be a caos.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and we had a nice view from the balcony. We also like that they were pet friendly, the only less good part was that we reserved the big bed, but in the end had 2 small beds next to each other. Apart from that we highly recommend it if you are looking for a good value for money stay.

Let's start with the fact that we paid 76€ for a double room (we were with a one-year-old child) with a balcony. A room on the first floor with a small coridor from which you entered the bathroom and which overlooked the bedroom. The space was quite large. The decor of the bedroom and vestibule moderately modernist, 6/10. The bathroom in a terrible style from 40 years ago, visually for us 1/10. But...

Nice location: only 25 minutes by foot from the main train station. The room was clean, having own bathroom. No noise during the night. Good breakfast in the morning - I would advice to take one. Easy to go to Europa-Park from there, or return to this place in the evening after the visit. I think that price/quality rate is just perfect! Thank you very much.

The Rammersweier Hof is really excellent... 4 adults and 3 children and we have been from the first second to Warmly Receive... Operation and Service Was super nice and friendly... The food was absolutely first class... everyone ate something different and Was thrilled... so the whole map from the top is the bottom... The surrounding environment was nice, but the room amenities were very basic. I had communicated with Ctrip beforehand that it would be €20 per night for a child, but they wanted to charge €30 per child upon check-out – speechless 😓 Ctrip refunded the difference.

This is a wonderful little hotel run by lovely, friendly people. We really enjoyed our two nights here. It is spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful, relaxed feeling. It is set in a superb location in the Schwarzwald with lots of scenic drives nearby. The meals are delicious and so is the beer. We highly recommend this property.

The room was nice, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure. However, there was no refrigerator in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful — they even let me store my beer in their fridge. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, but it was acceptable.

Very kind staff and wonderful breakfast

Our second stay in this lovely hotel. They are very welcoming and Room 11 was spacious with extra seating inside and out on the balcony. Breakfast is extensive with local produce and home made jams. Oberkirche is less than 10 minutes away by car so this hotel is placed well for travelling around the area. We will definitely come back again next year.

Perfect accommodation beyond expectations

Good accommodation in an old building, so the walls are high, but the furnishings are modern. The beds were great, electric shutters, lots of space. Unfortunately there is no large mirror and the light in the bathroom is a bit dark. The elevator has a museum feel

Perfect location between the train station and the city center, right next to the Ree Carree shopping center. Very friendly staff. The hotel was recently tastefully restored. Staying in a former prison – what a brilliant concept, and beautifully brought to life. The hotel is just a short walk from the city center and ideally located for a day trip to Strasbourg. We reserved the room through Trip.com and made the payment online. At the reception, we were told that no payment was made, there was no reservation. We showed the reservation number and the voucher, then we were told that breakfast was not included, hence we had to pay extra for breakfast. We showed that was included as well. The hotel is located very central, Only few minuyes walking to shops and train stations and a lot of restaurants in vicinity. The room is very clean and bed is comfy eventhough a little soft for me. But it is a matter of preference. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. Stayed one night as we needed a place to sleep. Rooms are cosy and clean. We had a lovely 4 course dinner and a good buffet breakfast the day after. Would recommend if you are passing by. The town is also really cute to visit and walk around.

The hotel has a great location, it's a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are ample parking spaces available. The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making. The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat.

The room wasn't very warm. A duvet and a sheet on the bed, and an extra blanket, would have been welcome. The neighborhood was very, very quiet, with a small pizzeria (meh) and a bakery nearby that you have to go to every day since there's no refrigerator in the room. It’s a perfectly located hotel with supermarkets, food joint in close proximity. Hotel rooms are super clean and comfortable! You have to park in the parkhaus and stamp your parking ticket at the hotel desk to get a discount on overnight stays.

Lovely hotel in beautiful nature setting! I absolutely loved this place! We had a family room for 4 and it was so roomy and nice. This place is in the middle of nowhere and was down windy small road but SO worth it! We had a very nice breakfast and we didn't take advantage but there was a spa on property as well.

Gengenbach is a lovely small town only eight minutes on the train from Offenburg. Reichsstadt Hotel and Restaurant is in the middle of town and only a short walk from the station. Great location in the centre of Gengenbach. Nice to find a pool and spa facilities in town hotel. The apartment was small but well-equipped. One drawback was the lack of air conditioning which meant opening the windows onto a noisy bar. We did not receive our welcome drinks. However, our experience was negatively impacted by the condition of the bed prepared for my young child — it had a strong odor of urine. We had to request a replacement cot, which wasn’t brought up until 9:30 PM. Additionally, housekeeping did not service our room on the first day, and the soiled mattress and bedding...

I simply love this hotel! I've stayed here a few times. the location is fabulous, surrounded by vines, in easy reach of main transport hubs. the suites are fabulous, with balconies and views of vineyards and orchards. the hotel is on "wine street"! the people are lovely, welcoming, and friendly. the food is great, and the regional wines are excellent. there's even a pool and sauna. Was a very nice high end boutique hotel.. staff is very friendly and accommodating.. great breakfast in the morning. Did not have dinner there but looked amazing and they were fully booked on Saturday/sunday niggt so reservation is probably needed..
