We rented a room in the house next to the hotel ('Wohnung 2'). It was clean, had enough space for two persons and offered a lovely view over this part of Schwarzwald. All kitchen appliances worked correctly.
We did not eat in the restaurant, so we don't know anything about breakfast and dinners that are offered.
At arrival there were no kitchen towels (but there were 4 big towels in the bathroom). We had to ask for kitchen towels and a garbabe bag, which we got immediately without any problem!
Sometimes the wifi-signal in the house disappeared (probably due to the number of users during evening hours). But when available, the signal worked perfectly and at a good speed (Netflixing was possible!)
We arrived by train so had no transport of our own but this was not a problem, we enjoyed walking around the area. Very peaceful and isolated, perfect for us. We would like to return during the spring or summer to see the area in a different way.
