At check-in, we were offered a garage space for our motorcycles, but when we went to park them, we were told to leave them outside…
We stayed for two weeks. Breakfast was completely uninspired: sausage, cheese, and only pre-baked rolls; no other bread selection whatsoever. My husband had recently had dental surgery and couldn't eat the hard rolls. When we asked for bread or toast, he received three slices of toast for two days, and then none on the third day. We then went to a shop and bought toast and decent jam. The room was far too small for two people and three small dogs; there was nowhere to sit except on the bed. Cleanliness was also a poor priority. While the beds were changed every three days, everything else was dirty.
At most, we'd stay for one or two nights, no more.
All in all a nice rest point.
Reservation for 3 adults with 3 single beds. In reality, there were 2 single beds and 1 barely equipped cot with a mattress topper, very uncomfortable.
The welcome was barely warm.
Check-out was at 11:00 AM, but they entered the room 3 times between 9:30 and 10:15 AM, opening it with their spare key (without asking our permission, thanks for the privacy!) to retrieve the cot as we were returning from breakfast, and then again the following two times to ask us to check out, and once more, barely with a smile.
Breakfast was decent in the restaurant, no complaints there. The same goes for the cleanliness of the room.
Superb place to stay, a really spacious and clean suite on the top floor. Bar/restuarant served superb food and a great breakfast. Nice quiet area and easy walk into the centre of Loffingen. Parking spaces are not abundant but there is plenty of parking in town a short walk away so no real issue. Would definitely stay here again.
