We loved our stay at the Riva with a Suite lake view. The room was comfortable and beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I loved the check-in drink and the evening treats from the housekeeping staff. Breakfast staff was also delicious with great options.

What a wonderful hotel, from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay the staff were amazing, very polite and personable. The hotel itself is truly 5 star, cleanliness, food, spa and location. Thank you for making our stay great and memorable, we look forward to staying with you again.

There's not enough superlatives in the English language to describe just how good the Riva Hotel really is. The staff were extremely efficient and polite, and attended to our every need. Our room in Villa 6 was huge an well appointed, with perhaps the nicest bathroom in terms of finish and appointments I've ever seen. The breakfast buffet had everything one could everwish for,

value for money ok, but sustainability is not an issue with this place. The impression is that the entire Lake Constance region, specifically the German side, is a bit spoiled. Money rules.

An elegant and refined hotel, restaurant and staff perfect for a relaxing stay with attention to every detail. The roof garden with swimming pool is spectacular!

What a beautiful welcome to this area,Bodensee. Located across the water from the main town of Konstanz but close enough to walk there and enjoy both atmospheres. Hotel staff warm and welcoming, the rooms and public areas spotless and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, something for everyone and so delicious. The rooftop pool was inviting, the lake view expansive. We never felt crowded or stressed, a totally restful and pampered 4 days!

Be aware that some of the deluxe rooms do not have outside space. I was vey disappointed to find that my room did not have a balcony to enjoy the lake view despite paying the same (high price) as other rooms in this category that did have outdoor space. The website shows such a room and so is very deceptive. Management could only offer a ‘downgrade’ if I wanted a balcony and were not interested in following up to help overcome my dissatisfaction - not really good enough for this standard of hotel

Such a beautiful location with a very relaxed ambience. The terrace of the Seerestaurant overlooked the lake and was a beautiful setting for supper and breakfast. The selection at breakfast in particular was excellent. Staff were both friendly and very professional. The roof terrace was the perfect spot for swimming and relaxing with views over the lake. The room was modern, well designed and perfectly quiet with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Perfection!

Some would hesitate to book a 5-star hotel because they believe the atmosphere may be a bit unwelcoming or judgemental, but such is not the case at "RIVA am Bodensee". The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everyone will do their absolute best to assist you when you arrive and during your entire stay. Peter in the dining area was very helpful, friendly and personable. The staff at the front desk assisted me with some out of the ordinary requests without hesitation. As for the cost, you get what you pay for, and yet this hotel is still quite a bargain. Great atmosphere, great people, great food and drink and a fantastic view. The room was very spacious, modern and air conditioned. We had separate living and sleeping areas, two balconies, a large luxurious bathroom with separate WC. The hotel has elevators to every floor and is equipped with sauna and exercise rooms. A valet parks your car and brings your luggage to the room. It is worth every penny. True, I've never stayed in a 5-Star hotel before (yet many 4-Star stuffy hotels), so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is fair to say that I was very impressed.
