Lovely little hotel in a picturesque location in the Black Forest. Excellent location just steps from the train (I did not come by car), and I went hiking right from the doorsteps. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of local touches.

The spa was a nice surprise, great pool. The rooms was huge, but no aircon, so very warm in the summer. The bar was never attended, so difficult to get beverages at any time. The food was limited in choice and average quality. But the location is stunning.

Black Forest Gem A wonderful classic resort in the heart of the Black Forest.

Stayed one night as we needed a place to sleep. Rooms are cosy and clean. We had a lovely 4 course dinner and a good buffet breakfast the day after. Would recommend if you are passing by. The town is also really cute to visit and walk around.

The hotel has a great location, it's a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are ample parking spaces available. The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making. The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat.

Our second stay in this lovely hotel. They are very welcoming and Room 11 was spacious with extra seating inside and out on the balcony. Breakfast is extensive with local produce and home made jams. Oberkirche is less than 10 minutes away by car so this hotel is placed well for travelling around the area. We will definitely come back again next year.

The surrounding environment was nice, but the room amenities were very basic. I had communicated with Ctrip beforehand that it would be €20 per night for a child, but they wanted to charge €30 per child upon check-out – speechless 😓 Ctrip refunded the difference.

This is a wonderful little hotel run by lovely, friendly people. We really enjoyed our two nights here. It is spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful, relaxed feeling. It is set in a superb location in the Schwarzwald with lots of scenic drives nearby. The meals are delicious and so is the beer. We highly recommend this property.

The hotel is in a very good spot, the view is spectacular, the whole complex is very cute. On a clear we were able to see Strasburg cathedral. This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Great experience We had a 3 nights stay at Hotel Lamm, during our 3 weeks tour around Germany, this was honestly the best 3 nights. Room was spacious, it was very clean & the service was top. We ate in in the onsite restaurant all nights and food was good, breakfast was equally amazing.

A very welcoming and friendly place to stay, as a foreign visitor the staff were very helpful, especially Ida on reception. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but the breakfast was of a good standard for a hotel. I shall certainly stay there again on my return to Buhl next year.

Very nice hotel. Beautifully finished bathroom. Staff is very friendly, appearing happy to work there. Lots of space in the hotel. Walking around is a small discovery tour. We had an amazing weekend here with the family including our dog. We were greeted by a cute dog when we arrived. Then Ingolf went out of his way to make our experience great. He made us a big bowl of pasta since we were hungry from traveling. He even played fussball with our daughter, so my husband and I could enjoy breakfast together the next morning. We booked 2 double rooms - very big rooms and pristine clean. Splendid service with owner himself involved and available most of time and putting eye for details for a great experience for all guests. Great location with very nice views, super nice breakfast. Ideal location for hikes, and within short driving distance to Europa-Park, Zip-Lines, Cuckoo Clock and many other places. Enjoyed a lot !

Lovely hotel but parking somtimes difficult

Stayed here due to my campervan going down. Was on the way to my campground when suddenly it wasn’t working proper when going up a mountain and had a hard time finding a place to sleep. Everything was closed or was on holiday. Thank goodness my boyfriend did his best to find some people to help us out and found about this hotel that had a spot for us and a bit cheaper as well due to the inconveniences...

Totally recommended. Please take your time to check bus availability and transport options because it's a few minutes from bahnhof but just have 1 bus journey and at night could be a caos.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and we had a nice view from the balcony. We also like that they were pet friendly, the only less good part was that we reserved the big bed, but in the end had 2 small beds next to each other. Apart from that we highly recommend it if you are looking for a good value for money stay.

Let's start with the fact that we paid 76€ for a double room (we were with a one-year-old child) with a balcony. A room on the first floor with a small coridor from which you entered the bathroom and which overlooked the bedroom. The space was quite large. The decor of the bedroom and vestibule moderately modernist, 6/10. The bathroom in a terrible style from 40 years ago, visually for us 1/10. But...

Nice location: only 25 minutes by foot from the main train station. The room was clean, having own bathroom. No noise during the night. Good breakfast in the morning - I would advice to take one.
