Not at all a customer-oriented hotel. The spa costs extra, which is fine, but you don't really figure that out until you're already trying to use it, and then you have to go down to reception, and it's a whole thing.

Btw, the bar and its menu look nice but those are some of the worst drinks we'd ever had, which is saying a lot. They are expensive and poorly made.

The gym is a joke. Location was mid at best.

The room was okay, but overall the staff is a bit rude, and generally this was not an enjoyable place.

Very pleasant hotel for a long weekend in Konstanz
Very nice hotel for a visit to Konstanz. Great location and nice bar area and close restaurants and grocery store. For the high level of service and quality of accommodation I would have expected room service and USB charging outlets in the rooms. I would have otherwise rated the hotel excellent.

The hotel is well located just in front of the river Rhein.
We booked a room with view on it an dit was spectacular!
The hotel is perfectly clean and well organised. The personnel is always open to help, smileing, comprehensive.

We booked a superior room, but we didn't like the room (it was dark and next to the elevator). We had to pay €88 per night for a deluxe room. The room was bright and had a beautiful view of the Rhine. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the reception staff was unprofessional and arrogant. At breakfast, the staff was completely overwhelmed. We had to wait 30 minutes for a cappuccino. Overall, the staff didn't live up to the expectations of a 4-star hotel.

Extremely bad review: fraud, insulting customers, and malicious blackmail!

1️⃣ Malicious accusation + blackmail
The hotel accused me of dirtying the lamp and demanded 95 euros to replace it.
The evidence was clear: the stains were clearly old (visible even in dim light) and I only stayed 2 nights. When I asked for a maintenance certificate or price list, they refused to produce one. And when I asked them to show me a photo of the front desk lamp when I checked in as evidence, they couldn't produce any. This is clear slander and blackmail!
This is blackmail! Specializes in defrauding guests of their money.
2️⃣ Invasion of privacy + secretly photographing items
I had put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign, but the staff still barged into the room without permission! He clearly had my contact information but did not try to contact me at all and only entered the room after obtaining my consent. What’s even more disgusting is that they secretly took photos of my personal belongings, seriously infringing my privacy and human rights.
3️⃣ The room is like a garbage dump
The carpet is moldy and the walls are cracked. It is not worth the price at all!
After the complaint, the manager had an arrogant attitude: "You can stay here or not. You can pay for it later!" My reasonable cancellation of the order was unreasonably rejected.
As a lone Chinese woman traveling alone, I was maliciously targeted and deliberately put under mental pressure throughout the entire process. Sexism, ******!
4️⃣Poor privacy
There are peeping neighbors around, which also violates my privacy.

This is our third time here. The location is great. The view from the room is wonderful. The breakfasts are delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive. We will be happy to come back!

We were there for the second time, great modern rooms, beautiful bathrooms, big windows with a great view (for lake view rooms). Perfect quality breakfast, nice staff. Unfortunately 15 euros per night in the garage is too expensive. Thank you and keep it up 💪🏻

Rooms are clean and proper, views of the front rooms are supernice. We've been here a few times. It's just that recently
the staff at the front desk doesn't behave polite. Twice we've been treated unfriendly. They are not capable to stay cool and they become offensive. It's not acceptable. Next time we're in town we will stay somewhere else. The hotel is nice but if the staff does not understand the basics of hospitality everything else is wasted.

First of all, there is no parking option for your car. The only option you have is to park your car into a public parking place which costs 20 euro per day. (Hotel doesn't give you any discount). Rooms are mediocre, and pillows are uncomfortable, but the cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. Lobby, lounge, and bar are all together. Cocktails are great, but they will be the only delicious think you can ever find in this hotel. Breakfast is super expensive for the service you get. Even fruit juices are not fresh and bought from the cheapest and most tasteless brands. When you get coffee for your breakfast, you pay an extra 8 euro, which totals up breakfast to 26 euro for a single person. (Breakfast was so out of options. Everyone's plates were looking like each other). Don't even try the sweets at the lounge. They sell cakes from yesterday or even from 2 day earlier. SPA service is great, and the hotel location is very good. I don't recommend this hotel.
