On Sundays, there was no service except for reception; we would have appreciated a minibar. There wasn't much open nearby.
The room was a bit small.

Great clean room right on the border of town. Parking was near the hotel under building next door. Breakfast was fantastic. Super easy to walk to all the shops and Christmas night markets. Highly recommend as I got such a good price!

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I booked Hotel Royal in Stuttgart on Aug 13, 2025 but wow! What a treat! I arrived after 10pm and the front receptionist was so kind (I think her name was Katarina?) The room I got was big enough for a family of 4. Everything was a bit dated, but it was clean, large, with a wonderful bathroom and bed. What more can one ask for? They offered apples both on check in and check out and as a fitness trainer, my favorite part of the access to Fitness First. I wasn’t able to use it but I’m excited to come back and be able to use the fitness facility. It is right next to the UBahn and leaves every 4 minutes or so to the Central Station. I highly recommend. What a surprise treat for some very hot days in Germany. Thank you Hotel Royal! a

We stayed at this hotel for four nights to visit the Christmas markets in and around Stuttgart. The location is very convenient, practically in the city center. We walked to all the markets, but only drove to the Mercedes Museum. The hotel has its own paid parking, which is recommended to reserve in advance, which we did, but we arrived one evening and found all the spaces taken. However, the man at reception (unfortunately, I didn't get his name) quickly helped us resolve this issue by telling us where we could park in the nearest lot. As compensation for the inconvenience, we were waived for three days of hotel parking, for which we are extremely grateful. The breakfasts are very good, and the rooms are comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is good. Central but quiet. The room was a nice size. Loved the breakfast.
I was missing a minibar to cool drinks. And I felt that the staff, although super friendly, didn’t keep track of the order. All in all was a nice stay.
