We visited the restaurant only and didn’t feel particularly welcome. The waiter was rather patronizing and somewhat cold. Food and drinks were pretty alright. No credit card payment. Wouldn’t visit a second time.

Beautiful view from the outside tables under the old linde tree. Signature rotisserie chicken are a must but everything is yummy.

Very beautiful location, friendly staff, wonderful views and large rooms. Internet service is also very good. Would recommend to anyone traveling to that area.

We were guests in the restaurant. The food was excellent. All dishes were freshly prepared and were spot on: vegetables, steak, fish, salad, schnitzel ... totally delicious. More is not possible! Magnificent night spent in this small hotel in Bavaria. A warm welcome, a magnificent room with a view... just crazy... the evening catering is not exceptional but the service is top notch and brought the dishes to our room so that baby can sleep. We returned to the Bergruh on the way back from Lake Garda. The hotel has not changed since July 2012. Cleanliness, good breakfast, a bit expensive for the rooms. We will not return as hotel is uphill and not easy as it gets older.

In the middle of the upcoming 4th Corona wave 🌊 we took a very relaxing short vacation here. A nice hotel with very reasonable prices and motivated staff. The food in ¾ Pension was very good 👍 The room was large and with a beautiful view. The fact that the bathtub under the sloping roof was not suitable for standing shower could be tolerated due to the large swimming pool and sauna 😄

Advertised as a hotel but it is a Bed and Breakfast. Upon checking in we were told it will be a vegan breakfast. The website photos showed the room with a balcony overlooking the lake. This was the room that we booked. The room we received faced a busy and noisy road with a balcony. Had we known that it was a Bed and Breakfast, a Vegan breakfast and a room facing a busy road, we would have looked elsewhere

It would be difficult to describe how perfect this little place is. Wonderful and friendly staff, gorgeous location 10 minutes from Fussen, fantastic room and an amazing breakfast.

Comfortable clean and a cozy room. Good shower, kind and hospitable stuff. Good value for money. You can have nice strolls around the nearby lake. As we had an electric car we could recharge it on the hotel parking lot which saved time charging in a charging station.

Mountainside Lake Hotel Highly recommend. We had such a wonderful experience. The hotel sets on the most beautiful lake next to the mountains. Short drive or bike ride to Fussen. The buffet breakfast and service was outstanding. Can’t say enough positives about our stay.

We stayed overnight to enjoy dinner at their 1 Michelin star restaurant PAVO. The location is breathtaking, with excellent views of the valleys and surrounding mountains. Stunning sunset! Wonderful place to relax and take in the beautiful views! You can close your eyes and take pictures in any direction and you’d have a postcard. We been going here for many years but the family had refurbished it recently and did a fantastic job. Make sure you time your visit carefully. It’s a narrow winding road they only lets people go up or down at certain times in the hour. Enjoy!!

Had a very nice stay with my daughter, very friendly ladies of reception and the restaurant. The food was good and the rooms are very comfortable, with view on a meadow with cows. During our stay we got a tourist card to take part of several local activities, like rafting, biking etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay, so we plan another holiday in this hotel during Xmas.

The rooms are cheap, but there's a reason. The room was clean, but the bathroom had a water leak. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows had obviously lost all their stuffing years ago. The lights turn off on you as you're walking up the stairs, and the wifi was just fast enough to convince you it would work before timing out. The check out time is also unusually early...breakfast is free...

Pretty place in Allgäu style, rooms with balcony. Very friendly and helpful personal. Breakfast with local fresh quality products. Only negative is the missing shades on the windows so rooms cannot be made dark for late morning sleep.

Pleasant hospitality in affordable accommodations. Our room was newly renovated, but there's still a lot of work to be done in the building. The cleanliness is okay at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it's not so good. Breakfast is average, and the price/performance ratio is okay.

We were here for a birthday event and the service has been great. They have thought about minute details and the staff was very friendly. It's located very close to the lake and when it's nice weather for sure sitting outside is great. One can park close by but you need a sign from the restaurant to get the allowance.
