Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room looked quite old and dated, and the bed was very hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There were also a few flies in the room, which wasn’t pleasant. The reception staff didn’t seem friendly or welcoming either. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations and could use some improvements.

The parking lot is small, with narrow access roads, requiring a bit of driving skill. It's actually an Italian restaurant, and it's quite busy, with locals dining in. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The kitchen is well-equipped, but I didn't have time to cook. There are plenty of affordable dining options nearby, and the lake view is a real plus. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days.

The hotel is a converted residential building, right by the lake. It has its own parking garage, but you have to pay for it. The garage is small, making getting in and out a challenge. At night, when the crowds are less, you can park on the street. Many local Germans are vacationing nearby. Our room had a kitchen, but it wasn't very useful. There was also a large, glass-enclosed terrace, which should be comfortable in the winter, but in the summer, it would have hindered the cool breeze. The temperature swings between day and night are significant, and the room lacks air conditioning, so you have to rely on the outside air to cool down at night. There's a large bed and a sofa, which is perfect for families with children. The room is spacious enough to fit three suitcases fully unpacked. The breakfast isn't very varied, but the food is good, and at 12 euros per person, it's worth it. Restaurants like McDonald's don't always offer breakfast, and even if they do, the set menu is more expensive than the hotel's, and the selection isn't as extensive.

This was the most amazing hotel. Our room was beautiful and the view utterly breathtaking. We had a small balcony and giant picture windows in the room from which we could see a lake with a chain of alps. It’s a short walk to a castle ruins, and a short drive to Old Fussen. The entire area around the lake is walkable. The restaurant was equally amazing. The food was good, the service was amazing. We had breakfast each morning, again, gazing at a lake with mountains, and dinner the first night. I would go back, and I wish we stayed longer.

Notes: there is no air conditioning, but the weather is beautiful and they give you a fan. We were never uncomfortable. Parking is available, but be careful, the spots are tight.

Wonderful location right on the lake. Many other restaurants nearby, but a really good Italian restaurant right in the hotel. Parking in the building or on the street.

Not recommended at all:
Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights since we went on a vacation but this hotel was the worst one in our whole vacation.

Positive points:
1. Julian was really good a welcoming host and he talked really nicely.
2. The restaurant downstairs had nice food, we enjoyed the dinner.

The one star is for these positive points only.

Negative points:
1. The whole place had a really bad smell since there was garbage stored just at the main entrance so there was no way to avoid it and it was really terrible and intolerable.

2. The room only had some basic amenities, there was no tissue, no water bottles, no kettles and when asked we got one kettle that seemed like unused from ages with dirt and dust both inside and outside, didn’t manage to clean it.

3. The breakfast had only 2-3 options, and it was not at all good, didn’t like the quality as well.

4. THE WORST EXPERIENCE: The lady present at the breakfast time was really rude and unfriendly, she made us feel insulted and worst of all she made us feel DISCRIMINATED. This is the worst thing you can expect from a place where you are paying and still being treated as if we were living for free and were a burden on the host.

WOULD NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AS WELL TO MY WORST ENEMY.

We did a lot of research and decided on this hotel due to the price, location, and benefits. The pictures also looked very nice. Unfortunately we had to cancel last-minute due to car troubles. Servers on the phone were extremely kind and the manager was also very responsive and accommodating. Hope to stay here for real in the future soon.
