Hotel Mirabell in Erlangen

Reception: the lady at the reception is honest and straightforward. I didn't ever perceive her as rude one minute in the conversation. You ask, you receive answer. You smile, she smiles back. You don't smile, she might not smile back. I do not see this as rude or bad. She took the time to explain to me exactly what the breakfast would include, and when I say exactly I mean she showed me where and what is served and didn't want to charge me for the breakfast before I saw with my own eyes what was served and if it was to my liking, but I decided to trust, mainly becase of the dedication with which she explained every detail to me.
Room: as per the comments, yes it is small, but it is perfect the way it is. The bed was perfect for one person, might squeze in the 2nd person too,the mattress was one of the best I've had since I have been traveling. You have a desk and chair, laptop fits on it perfectly, you have coathangers and other furniture for clothes. The bathroom was ok, with everything you need ( towels, hand soap, hairdryer, toilet paper and towels).
Breakfast: bufet for 6 Eur where you have: omlette/ fried eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, ham, salami, cream cheese, fruit yogurt, several types of bread (buns and toast), fruit, tomatoes, several types of cereal, jam, butter and most probably I did miss some. Coffee or tee, you get served by the lady at the reception or the cook when he is out checking constantly to see if other guests came in or if anything is missing to make sure the bufet is always stocked ( at least that was for me).
Bonus points, they find solutions for your situations for which I extend a big thank you.

Easy-going place with quiet and well air-conditioned rooms. A short biz stay was rounded up with a pleasant service and lovely breakfast buffet.
