Starting with the good, the room was spotless and the bedding was very comfy. I very much appreciate the use of green printed materials, soaps, and bathroom linens. The location perfect, is in the very center of the city which is lovely and clean. The person on staff in the morning was courteous, efficient, and quite pleasant. Normally I’d have given a 5 to both the room and the service, but the smell of the wood floor treatments was so strong that I had to open all the windows, thus I heard the loud city until 3am. The online service can use updating. There’s no longer a €9 option for parking though it’s still advertised, and the breakfast selection option didn’t work correctly. Still, I would recommend it with the caveat that one should ask in advance about the wood floor treatment, parking, and breakfast.

Nice room, breakfast and parking is across the road at euro 5 per day. Nice staff.
Erlangen has nice restaurants and is a nice city.

Great, centrally located Hotel in the IKEA style. Many of the rooms are fully renovated, the staff is super nice.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. By 7 PM everything ran in the Breakfast room, the coffee maker is lame and produced with the capsule technology of waste that no one needs.
In principle, the Breakfast is still better than in many other Hotels, but the crowds just uncomfortable.
But there are also calmer days, if not all, of the Siemens consultants have already arrived. :-)

Clean, cosy and modern rooms, some with Bungalow Flair to make the stay in the town house for the holiday. Drawback: The dining room is small and the vegan yield lean.

Small hotel with small rooms. For the price you pay it is very clean. The rooms are noisy, you can hear people from other rooms speaking. The breakfast is very simple with not a lot of choice. Do not expect too much luxury, but a nice hotel for a quick business trip.
Edit: Thanks for the reply! I actually had a comfort room but still could hear other guests speaking. It isn’t a big deal, but worth mentioning.

I really like this hotel. Unfortunately, it is almost always complete... what explains itself the high demand for this hotel.
With regard to the hotel itself: very well located, easy to park around and very good and kind service.
Rooms are clean and big enough, well equipped. Decent internet connection and breakfast.
Whenever I have to stay in Erlangen, Stadthaus is my first option; no matter if my trip is for business or pleasure.
