The room was clean and hygienic. However, European hotels often lack hot water and air conditioning, so please be aware of this when checking in. The location is good, convenient for restaurants and shopping, and there's a cathedral nearby. The breakfast was quite substantial, with various fruits and breads, and fried eggs were prepared separately for breakfast.

This wonderful, locally owned hotel is the epitome of old-world charm and hospitality. The owner and the staff are dedicated to making a guest's experience memorable. By the way, the breakfasts are marvelous! The hotel is located inside a classic building in Ingolstadt's heart, perfectly matching this charming town. Do yourself a favor and spend some time in Ingolstadt, and when you do, book the Hotel Adler for your visit!

I enjoyed my two night stay at this very centrally located hotel. The decor was a little dated (1970s with a touch of medieval) but this was part of its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A generous buffet breakfast was included which was a real bonus.

Excellent location in the center of the town. Very welcoming and clean. Kind and attentive staff to the needs of their customers. Spacious and nice rooms. Excellent breakfast: variety of sweets, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs made on the spot.

The staff accommodated us with great suggestions on places to eat and see. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. They also make eggs anyway you like them. Good location but note the train station is far away.

It was a heavy rain in Ingolstadt for like 15 minutes. We were walking in the street when it started, so we stood in the opened gate of Hotel Adler, you can see it in my pictures. It was appr. 10 people alltogether, doing nothing just calmly standing there and waiting for the end of the raining. After like 10 minutes a security guard came and told us to leave in a very rude tone and even closed the gate on us. I have to note again, we were doing nothing, just calmly standing there for a few minutes. I really don't recommend this hotel, as this manner is unacceptable even if we were not guests of the hotel.
