Good rooms and location, only issue is that the TV isnt a smart one so long business trips without a smart TV can be a bit boring.

Good rooms, good price, airconditioning doesn't work that great and cannot be set to a temperature rather only to -4 relative to outside temp. Bathroom is good, clean, good size. Mini cooler doesn't really cool. Beds are ok, plenty of power sockets around the room, shower is good size and has shampoo/conditioner. Very friendly staff at reception desk, multilingual, kind and willing to help - good experience...

We stayed in this hotel on our way to austria. What a nice place! We arrived at 00:30, but we were received very friendly, with a big smile(!) by the gentleman behind the counter. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and a quiet environment. We had a very good night's sleep! Thankyou :)

I booked this hotel during a business trip and it was a pleasant experience. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The room was pretty standard and clean. Had no issues with the service. The breakfast was also good. Offered a variety of options to choose from. I’ll definitely recommend.

We were travelling and we just needed a hotel not far from the highway. We had some problems with the first and we asked to change and we were given a smaller room with the balcony which we didn't need at all! The surrounding area is convenient for shopping, the facilities in the room are good, the service is also OK, and the overall feeling is that except for the transportation being a little far, everything else is pretty good.

Well located with an underground car park plenty big enough for an SUV. The room was functional with an extreeeeemly comfortable bed! Shower worked very well and every thing was very clean. Breakfast was quite adequate and the staff most helpful and freindly - would stay again.

Stayed only one night in Ingolstadt at the Rappensberger. We selected the junior suite. It was a wonderful room. Spacious, plenty of space to unpack clothes, large bathroom, great view. Reception staff were very friendly, breakfast was wonderful, parking was easy. Glad we stayed and would come back.

The room was clean and hygienic. However, European hotels often lack hot water and air conditioning, so please be aware of this when checking in. The location is good, convenient for restaurants and shopping, and there's a cathedral nearby. I enjoyed my two night stay at this very centrally located hotel. The decor was a little dated (1970s with a touch of medieval) but this was part of its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A generous buffet breakfast was included which was a real bonus.

The staff accommodated us with great suggestions on places to eat and see. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. They also make eggs anyway you like them. Good location but note the train station is far away.

Rock solid. Rooms are perfect. A bed with down duvets and perfect sheets. We had schnitzel, beer and wine in the restaurant together with other guests and locals. The next morning we ate a great breakfast and could continue our journey. Thx for a great stay!

The hotel was in a quiet village so it was quite restful. There are church bells but that is part of experiencing another country. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. There was plenty to eat at breakfast. There is plenty of off street parking, this is good because the hotel is in a small residential area.

Nice family owned and operated inn. As it is not part of a chain you maybe don't get the same amenities as in other hotels with the same price (as other reviewers mentioned), and the hosts don't speak that much English. But to me this adds to the charm of the place as it is more authentic. The hosts are quite friendly and were very patient with my (very bad) German. They have a nice biergarten too

The room is large,new furniture, excellent bed. Quality bathroom (shower). But the room comes across empty. The WiFi is of bad quality, with a complicated login: you need to repeat it over and over again. The breakfast is quite good and varied. The hotel people are not very warm. Maybe they prefer Bavarians over other people. Objectively I should give this place a 4. But I cannot bring myself to it

I really liked this hotel. The service was very friendly and were always concerned of how we are. They always greeted us in the morning and the location was awesome. I dont recommend coming the summer, cause the rooms are very hot and u can barely breathe. The shower and sink water flew everywhere once u started it. But overall it is good 👍

Been here several times on business trips. The hotel is good for night sleep , but not much more. The rooms look clean and fresh, but the heater is near the door, not near the window. This makes it hard to have a comfortable temperature. The gym and sauna were not available in 2025. The breakfast food has good quality and decent choice: it is possible to have 3 different breakfasts (meat, salad, dessert...

We stopped here during our journey to Slovenia. Basic but comfortable rooms, however it was very warm at night (no airco). We were pleasantly surprised by the generous breakfast however, a great way to start our day. We did not have time to explore the area but the location is not the most attractive.

We rented two rooms. They are decent for a quick stay when you want to "break" a long trip and be rested when you travel the next morning. One room #7 was smelling bad as someone had been smoking in it. The other room was clean. The breakfast and the coffee are really nice, which is important. Staff is also friendly. A very cozy place to stay with very friendly owners! The breakfast was very generous, delicious, and fresh. It's a bit noisy due to the main road right outside, but with the windows closed, everything's fine. If it gets too warm in the room, there are air conditioning units in the rooms.

Altstadst Hotel Ingolstadt is located at the good location in Ingolstadt town, walking distance to the heart of Ingolstadt. It has two buildings, which is right across the street to each other, the staffs here are very friendly, gives you the feeling like staying at home. Room is clean and neat, while space is economy.

Stayed for 1 night, staff very efficient and friendly Really nice campsite with lots of trees. Shower block really clean and well equipped. Marked down to 4 stars as although good bus service to and from the campsite, but the last bus from town at night is 20.30. There are other buses but they don't go to the campsite, so this was a bit confusing.

The best showers we have had on our trip. They are clean, doesn't cost extra and are beautiful. Even though it's close to the motorway, it was surprisingly quiet. It's expensive though, 39e for one car and two persons. Also we couldn't find any proper place to cook and eat. The only good tables seemed to be reserved for the barrel rooms, and the "table" at the grilling area was so tilted and uncomfortable...

This campground is really nice with lots of level spots for your RV/ trailer. Electricity is available in certain areas of the camp. Paved roads throughout. Facilities are in really nice shape and kept very clean. They also have a shop which has some basic parts and can help with repairs. Good restaurant adjoins the site and has a nice beer garden.

Very nice accommodation very well structured comfortable spaces. In general excellent welcome, very clean bathrooms, very comfortable beautiful location on the shore of a beautyful pond. Perfect for a weekend or a stopover a couple of days to explore the very interesting region. For us perfect base for exploring the Altmühl valley and ist bike tours.

Nice place, nice lake… but the shop has quite limited selection… Big pitch, quiet, restaurant at place, green grass, birds… No wifi, no water at the pitch. Fine place for a couple of nights.
