Perfect location with a good breakfast

Altstadst Hotel Ingolstadt is located at the good location in Ingolstadt town, walking distance to the heart of Ingolstadt. It has two buildings, which is right across the street to each other, the staffs here are very friendly, gives you the feeling like staying at home. Room is clean and neat, while space is economy.

Extremely well organised and clean. Breakfast superb and excellent choice on offer. Staff very pleasant and helpful. They also speak English. A 15 minute gentle walk to the railway station. We stayed for one night on the way from north Germany to Italy. The hotel is perfectly located in a very quiet street and, although being just five minutes from the motorway, is within easy walking distance of the city center, restaurants etc. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with super friendly and helpful staff.

Nice hotel, not too big, I would say cosy. Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant on the ground floor (Italian cuisine), albeit somewhat limited selection. Don't be discouraged by the proximity of the motorway. Even in the room on the side facing it - you can barely hear any traffic.

This hotel I located in an industrial area on the south side of Ingolstadt. Close to the A9 autobahn. The hotel is new and modern with nice rooms and spacious bathrooms. And a very comfortable bed. During covid the breakfast comes as an lunchbox but can be eaten in the breakfast room at the ground floor of the hotel. Creditcards are accepted.

Best Hotel at this price class in the city. I will always stay here when I'm in Ingolstadt. I was here twice in February and again in April.The ladies on the reception were great. The new man was a bit disinterested in his job. The staff changed a bit in the short time they've been open. Once the personel settles I expected an even better experience.

The room was clean and hygienic. However, European hotels often lack hot water and air conditioning, so please be aware of this when checking in. The location is good, convenient for restaurants and shopping, and there's a cathedral nearby. The breakfast was quite substantial, with various fruits and breads, and fried eggs were prepared separately for breakfast.

I enjoyed my two night stay at this very centrally located hotel. The decor was a little dated (1970s with a touch of medieval) but this was part of its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A generous buffet breakfast was included which was a real bonus.

The staff accommodated us with great suggestions on places to eat and see. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. They also make eggs anyway you like them. Good location but note the train station is far away.

Really nice business hotel. The room was basic but clean and with everything that is needed for a short stay. The check-in was smooth and quick even outside the opening hours of the reception. The english speaking staff was kind and professional. Really nice and abundant breakfast. The only downside was the WiFi non working propperly. I'll come back on my next business trip.

I really liked this hotel. The service was very friendly and were always concerned of how we are. They always greeted us in the morning and the location was awesome. I dont recommend coming the summer, cause the rooms are very hot and u can barely breathe. The shower and sink water flew everywhere once u started it. But overall it is good 👍

Rock solid. Rooms are perfect. A bed with down duvets and perfect sheets. We had schnitzel, beer and wine in the restaurant together with other guests and locals. The next morning we ate a great breakfast and could continue our journey. Thx for a great stay!

The hotel was in a quiet village so it was quite restful. There are church bells but that is part of experiencing another country. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. There was plenty to eat at breakfast. There is plenty of off street parking, this is good because the hotel is in a small residential area.

Nice family owned and operated inn. As it is not part of a chain you maybe don't get the same amenities as in other hotels with the same price (as other reviewers mentioned), and the hosts don't speak that much English. Very nice accommodation very well structured comfortable spaces. In general excellent welcome, very clean bathrooms, very comfortable beautiful location on the shore of a beautyful pond. Perfect for a weekend or a stopover a couple of days to explore the very interesting region. For us perfect base for exploring the Altmühl valley and ist bike tours.

Nice place, nice lake… but the shop has quite limited selection… Big pitch, quiet, restaurant at place, green grass, birds… No wifi, no water at the pitch. Fine place for a couple of nights.

Very nice place for a short vacation. The booking system is not complicated, we booked two nights directly from their website. The staff was friendly and we bought breads, snacks and drinks in the small store. There is a heater inside of the Schlaffasser and it was warm to sleep here even in the rainy season.

This is a site that was good, there was not much to do in the camp but it was clean and did what it was supposed to. It's a fairly big site with a bar/restaurant next to it which was reasonably priced for good food. Apple juice was extortionate though at 5 Euro a glass, a beer was 3.80. There was a lake next to the site but we didn't get to venture round it. Not much more to say really, worth a visit...
