Stayed for 1 night, staff very efficient and friendly Really nice campsite with lots of trees. Shower block really clean and well equipped.
Marked down to 4 stars as although good bus service to and from the campsite, but the last bus from town at night is 20.30. There are other buses but they don't go to the campsite, so this was a bit confusing.

One of the very bad experiences.paying for 3 nights in Hut instead we been accomodated in Tent. Complain wasnt listen.Staff just laugh. Pay:140 euros for three nights.

The best showers we have had on our trip. They are clean, doesn't cost extra and are beautiful.
Even though it's close to the motorway, it was surprisingly quiet.
It's expensive though, 39e for one car and two persons. Also we couldn't find any proper place to cook and eat. The only good tables seemed to be reserved for the barrel rooms, and the "table" at the grilling area was so tilted and uncomfortable that it was impossible to use a gas stove.
Even though it's close to the motorway, it was surprisingly quiet.
It's expensive though, 39e for one car and two persons. Also we couldn't find any proper place to cook and eat. The only good tables seemed to be reserved for the barrel rooms, and the "table" at the grilling area was so tilted and uncomfortable that it was impossible to use a gas stove.

This campground is really nice with lots of level spots for your RV/ trailer. Electricity is available in certain areas of the camp. Paved roads throughout.
Facilities are in really nice shape and kept very clean. They also have a shop which has some basic parts and can help with repairs.
Good restaurant adjoins the site and has a nice beer garden.

We went to this campsite to spend the night as we were traveling through. We arrived just before 1500 and there was a line of grumpy Germans waiting.
You can fill out a form to apply for the campsite and hand these over to the employees. The employees use this information for your registration.
The employees are very friendly and helpful. The campsite is pretty big and there is lots of room. Thank God we were in the low season, I wouldn't wanna be here in the high season.
Not much room for tents, which is what we used. More based on recreational vehicles.
There are two main sanitary buildings, the one in the back is the one we used and it was ready for destruction. Very dirty and very old. Also the toilet doesn't work properly and you have to flush the junk of the one before you.
The sandwiches in the morning are very good and warm. Pick up from 0800.
All in all, I wouldn't come here again.

Very nice place for a short vacation. The booking system is not complicated, we booked two nights directly from their website. The staff was friendly and we bought breads, snacks and drinks in the small store. There is a heater inside of the Schlaffasser and it was warm to sleep here even in the rainy season.

Very nice accommodation very well structured comfortable spaces. In general excellent welcome, very clean bathrooms, very comfortable beautiful location on the shore of a beautyful pond. Perfect for a weekend or a stopover a couple of days to explore the very interesting region. For us perfect base for exploring the Altmühl valley and ist bike tours.

Nice place, nice lake… but the shop has quite limited selection…

EXPENSIVE at 35 Euros for 2 people and a tent on bicycles. In fact THE most expensive place we have camped in 2 months of cycling in Europe, apart from Switzerland! This is a large campground with many nice trees, except the tent platz, which had very few trees and was baking undervthe sun. There are NO facilities for bicycles - no tables, no seating area, no covered areas for shelter, NO WIFI, which was a disgrace for the price. The washer and dryer were 5 euros each - and most expensive anywhere. Stay away from any AZUR camp ground if you are on bikes unless you like throwing your money away.

Went there during my Donauradweg cycling. The camp is in a good position, modern and overall good maintained and clean. Not too much cosy for tents. The biggest problem for me was the shower. They looked quite new and modern but during shower you have to constantly pushing a button in order to have a water, to be accurate you have to push it every 8 seconds! Plus they torture you there with annoying and loud music. Wouldn't be so sensitive but for a price they asking for one person and one small tent (18€! Which is written on their website in quite a unclear way) I expect some comfort. Overall overpriced and cold campsite. If you are on a biking trip would recommend to rather avoid this place.
