The breakfast is quite good and varied. The hotel people are not very warm.
Maybe they prefer Bavarians over other people.
Objectively I should give this place a 4. But I cannot bring myself to it.
The hotel seems to be family owned and also the exterior seems to be freshly renovated.
The reason I don't give a higher rating are two-fold. For one, the staff isn't very friendly.When I arrived it was hard to get even a single word of information from the owner. Neither was he able to tell me about breakfast times nor about how to get a password for the offered wifi. Also when I asked about food at half past nine pm I was told the kitchen wasn't working anymore. Later I found out by a flyer in my room that the kitchen should have been working until 9pm.
Also, when I went to my room there was no pillow in my bed. When searching for staff to get a pillow nobody was around.
The other reason for just an average score is the price. There are 4 star hotels close to this one that are actually cheaper and offer a much better service and much better accommodation.
If you are looking for a functional house this hotel is quite OK. If you are looking for a friendly reception and a better price go elsewhere.
Food was nourishing, it just totally lacked any spices. The mushroom cream sauce tasted like pure cream.
Update: to be honest I was never treated so unfriendly like in this place. I will not return. Also if you take business travelers you should be able to accept payment on debit card for food, this place just takes cash...make up your own mind why they don't take traceable electronic cash....
