We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous!...

This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

beautiful location and amazingly kind cleaning staff! it is super sad to say that the front desk person at night was super unfriendly and unkind when we asked a simple question about the tv. (none of the televisions have access to any channels that are on the remote and on the tv itself) super disappointed with the service with the front desk at night especially when it is an expensive hotel. the front...

This is one of the best hotels in Lindau. Their restaurant offers a mesmerising view of the lake constance. The food is tasty as well. The staff is very friendly. Easily reachable. Mountain view. Major shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on an island in Lake Constance, connected to the city by a dam. The price is too expensive.

We chose a room with a lake view and were rewarded every morning with stunning views of the lake and the Alps beyond. Comfortable room, lovely staff, excellent breakfast; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

A little old fashioned in decor and feel. Baffling layout to find the pool - no mention in room literature - as its the hotels with adjoining corridors, but seemingly separate.

I was interested in hiking in Bregenz. A short stopover while I make my way to Munich.  I looked on the map and saw Lindau Incel and thought it looked cute. Lots of shops and restaurants. So I booked here instead.  Glad I did! Location was awesome. Staff was so friendly. I got the best show of a red sunset into massive lightning storm. Breakfast was fantastic. And I wasn’t expecting to use the pool...

I stayed here in 2022 and was eager to return. However, service seems to be slipping. Last time all the staff were customer focused, eager to assist. Rooms had mini bars. This stay - not so much. We had a waiter who didn’t know the menu yet he had been there a couple months. He bumped into me while setting a plate down. Never had that before at any restaurant. A bit disappointed Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.

this hotel has an excellent location. While having breakfast on the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean. I'll be happy to come back here again.

It’s a nice unique city and hotel is located in middle of old town. Loved it!

I have heard that some rooms are noisy since it’s next to train station. Our room was quiet and no noise even with the windows open. There is no air con in rooms but they give you a fan. There’s not much other amenities but we didn’t mind. Staff was very helpful and gave us a map around the place with marked spots to visit. Good experience!

Lovely 2 day stay in Lindau. Lovely 2 night stay in Lindau. The hotel was perfectly located. Staff in the hotel were all very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice. Room allocated was a good size for a single occupant.

We arrived late in the evening for our stay at the hotel, we had previously arranged with reception to pick up our room keycard from a machine outside the hotel as the entrance is not staffed 24 hours. This all worked as planned and we were able to access our room with no assistance. There is some parking outside the hotel, or a multi-storey 5 minutes walk away for more space. Well located a minutes to the harbour. We had a spacious room with a small seating area. Although a long walk to the room from the lift. Looks like this hotel has taken up two buildings connected . Pillows not good but that seems to be a given in this part of Germany. No extras in room like fridge , water , kettle . No shampoo or conditioner just some soap. Standard 3 star. But it was quiet and sheets...

Great old place.. the view over the Bodense Lake is magnificent.. the rooms, though, could use a little upgrade if they wanna be a 5 star ..Gorgeous are around the hotel.

Pretty, old hotel with character located next to the Bodensee. While the rooms are okay, they are out of date. The restaurant is mediocre. And unfortunately, the weirdest part of the hotel is that the sauna is only open between 14.00 and 19.00. While it can be accessed by special request before 14.00 it cannot be used after 19.00. Which makes no sense if you’re staying here for business which many...

A great place to relax. Great selection of wellness treatments. My husband and I liked that we could get to the wellness center by a special elevator. Guests are provided with robes and slippers.

Room was spacious with a walk in wardrobe. The lack of AC or ceiling fan was an issue in the hot weather. However, the staff were amazing and the complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch. The quiet room on the fourth floor is amazing.

This boutique hotel is situated directly at the waterfront of the Lake Constance within walking distance to the town centre. I believe it was renovated in 2020. Our room was rather quirky with the shower directly in the room and a small balcony with a great view of the lake, the tower, the bay, the lighthouse and the statue of a lion. It was big enough for two people and had sufficient storage space...

A beautiful little gem in Lindau. From the warm and friendly welcome to the beautiful rooms and SPA area. The hotel seems newly renovated, and all is cozy and clean. Even the SPA area is great for such a hotel. The location is directly at the lake side with a great view. The breakfast is really good, not overhelming big whatever you need you get. A hotel I would go again.

We had a perfect lunch in this delightful location, placed in front of the beautiful harbor. We shall definitely spend a holiday here!!! We highly reccomend it for the view, the kindness of the staff! If you will be around Lindau Insel, don't miss it!

This is a very nice hotel with an unbeatable location....right at the harbor. The tour boats are right there and offer many options to explore Lake Konstanz. It was very busy by the harbor when we arrived on a Sunday but when the day trippers left, it was very peaceful and quiet...and truly beautiful. Room was very large but had one weird feature found in some European hotels that I do not understand...

It is a great place to stay. They have a good breakfast buffet. Their 4 course meal at dinner time is great. The personal here are really friendly. The one downside is that they have thick carpet in the rooms. A person with asthma will have a hard time breathing.

We had a lovely stay! Our room was comfy, clean and we had service every day. The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. The Wellness Spa and pool perfectly maintained. The breakfast selection extensive and service was nice and fast. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Very good room with nicely sized bathroom and shower. Conveniently located to shopping area and Christmas market. Within walking distance of Lindau Reutin train station. Staff was wonderful in accommodating our large family group at breakfast; even remembered our coffee orders.

Nice hotel on the main road, but with access to the little village through a second entrance on the rear side of the hotel. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. We had a hard time finding the hotel using Google GPS, so be careful. The hotel has no parking so they recommend a car park that is across the bridge - drop off any luggage first, as it's a bit of a walk. Overall, a nice stay!

Perfect central location, with cozy and spotless rooms. Breakfast was varied and fresh with quality products. What really stood out to me was how friendly and caring all the staff was to us. We stayed for a couple of days in this lovely hotel. Small room but very clean. Breakfast, perfect. They prepared it with such details and creativity. Very appealing to the eyes. You get a list a day before breakfast and you can choose maximum 5 items and write the time you wanted to have your breakfast. There is also a basket with bread and wishes are mostly granted. The ambiance is very relaxing...

Pascal was an exceptional front desk employee during our stay. He was extremely helpful and very friendly. He made our recent stay very enjoyable. The dinner we had at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and had a nice outside patio and the surrounding area was very beautiful. Café Ebner is a great boutique hotel downtown Lindau. Rooms are spacious and modern. Beds are great and we slept very well. Breakfast is amazing ! Price is reasonable and includes breakfast .Would highly recommend this place if you spend some time in Lindau.

Nicely furnished room. It was clean and toilet was well equipped as well. I like the strong water pressure of the shower. location is ok.. probably better if you drove. I like the private parking which was free.
