Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten in Lindau

We only went to the terrace restaurant for lunch in the afternoon. The waiter took over fifteen minutes to attend to us and take our order. I got the feeling that we weren't welcome to the terrace restaurant. The meals were good but average. When I requested the invoice for payment. The waiter told me that he was having a break. It took over twenty minutes for the waiter to attend to us to pay for our meal. Even though he attended guests at the table next to us. The location is fantastic. The actual hotel looks great. But I won't be returning to the restaurant again. This was my first visit to Lindau. The service provided at the restaurant wasn't inspiring. Next time I will go elsewhere. Where to staff are happy to serve you.

Absolutely horrible experience at the restaurant. Waiter with the red glasses was incredibly impatient and rude. He made several passive aggressive comments about how long it was taking us to order (it was only going to take a couple of minutes maximum!) and then simply walked away and started helping other customers to show us his disapproval with us. We were very polite to him during the entire ordeal and as paying customers did not deserve this kind of foul treatment. So we went to another restaurant where we got much better service. This waiter is a stain to your company and needs to be fired! This waiter is making your business lose money and clients!

I find it quite astounding that anyone would describe the Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten as a high-end property. Having experienced viciously rude and unkind treatment by the wait staff in the Hotel's restaurant on 14 September 2021, I can only say that this establishment's best days must be far in the past and a darker day has dawned. After waiting approximately 20 to 30 minutes to receive any attention from our waiter, during which we had to select our dishes twice because one menu was for before 1900 (7PM) and the other after, our waiter with red glasses finally came to the table and we were trying to show him (German is not out our first laguage) in the menu what we wanted. Apparently, this wasn't going as fast as he wanted, since I had in the moment mistakenly first opened the pre-1900 (7PM). Then, realizing my mistake, opened the second one, but before I could show him what we wanted, the waiter shouted, "I have time, I have so very much time!" He walked off. He later returned with some tableware and he walked away as I tried to ask him a question. After this appalling treatment, we got up and we spent our 250€ at a nearby restaurant at the Hotel Helvetia, where we had a very nice meal and were treated courteously by the wait staff.
