Where to stay with pets in Lindau

It’s a nice unique city and hotel is located in middle of old town. Loved it!

The beds were comfortable and clean as were the shower and the toilet. The rooms were carpeted red with centre walls giving it a slightly old fashioned feel

The room was tidy and clean, with sufficient heating that kept the space warm and comfortable. The property also offers free parking, which is very convenient for travelers driving. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The location of the hotel is OK, but we had to take a bus from the station to get there. Unfortunately, they did not know about trip

this hotel has an excellent location. While having breakfast on the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean. I'll be happy to come back here again.

We chose a room with a lake view and were rewarded every morning with stunning views of the lake and the Alps beyond. Comfortable room, lovely staff, excellent breakfast; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

  Glad I did! Location was awesome. I got the best show of a red sunset into massive lightning storm. And I wasn’t expecting to use the pool, but enjoyed it both days I was there

A beautiful hotel centrally located and waterfront (Lake Constance) in Lindau

We only visited the café-restaurant, overlooking the harbour of the town, for a dessert. Excellent Cheesecake and Strudel - light, tasty and proper-sized portions. The interior of the hotel also looked really beautiful

We had a room facing the lake and it was a bit noisey at time as our room was right above the cafe, but the view from our room was spectacular. So if you are looking for "quiet time" ask for a room not facing the lake

Beautyful view over the lake of Constance, exceptionell service , friendly waiters and good spirit. Food fine, drinks superb, all in all very recommandable !

Another example: Special request (from the menu) at dinner on my birthday: 1st person: "That's not possible" 2nd person: "No problem" 3rd person: brings something completely different, the wrong thing, more than an hour after ordering

I stayed for a conference for three nights. The hotel is fantastic and is in a beautiful location. Enjoyed breakfast and several meals at the hotel. Lots of cool places to walk to within about 20-30 minutes

Someone like that doesn't belong on the front line anywhere, and certainly not here. These are all management issues and have nothing to do with staffing shortages, which is why we can't recommend the hotel in any way

We booked a junior suite which featured appalling furnishings from the 70’s. No air conditioning! No tea coffee making facilities. A lone bottle of mineral water with a card written Free round it’s neck

I recently stayed at Hotel Schongarten and had a wonderful experience. Nestled in a peaceful and blissful location, the hotel offered a perfect escape

The only limitation is the location if you want to visit the island. We had no trouble parking and walking to the old section on the island

It was such a lovely experience, beautiful, lovely sweet owners, great hospitality, great location, breakfast super and rooms very cozy and extremely clean

The hosts are meticulous in how they set up and maintain the rooms. We stayed at many other places on our trip in Europe, and none were as clean and comfortable as our room in Lindau

Central location, great view from the 5th floor. Room big enough for 2 adults and our dog. Most amazing part is the service. Super nice staff, feeling like close neighbors, really made the stay different

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Garni Reulein. Rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The view from our balcony was beautiful, and the area was very quiet

The hotel is centrally located near Lindau harbour and 5 minutes walk from the train station. The room was very clean, a comfortable bed and a good sized en-suite with a very effective shower

Continental breakfast choices are extensive including fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, continental meats cheese and fish, beautifully fresh bread rolls, jams, home made cake and eggs any style, including perfectly cooked poached eggs! There are numerous restaurants nearby, bars and a small tourist bus to take you around the island

Over the winter holidays we visited 4 different hotels. This hotel was by far our favorite. The room was beautiful, we had a 3rd story room with as tiny window which led to a cute rooftop view

The owners are really lovely people, and the hotel is family run, very friendly and they go out of their way to help you with tickets, directions, ideas of places to visit etc

You can also walk around approx 3 miles. We visited Mainau island famous for its flowers and gardens. BoT trips to Lake Constance are available from Lindau harbour

Great location, a 3-5 minute walk to the Lindau Lake area where the Christmas Market is located! Hotel is simple but very comfortable and traditional building. Would stay here again.

Small Family Run hotel. Too expensive for what it is, but well located and close to downtown Lindau.

After a short walk from the train station, we arrived and were warmly greeted. The neat and efficiently furnished guest room was a decent size and very clean

Great location close to Lindau island to which you can go with a free bus which stops almost directly in front of the hotel + you can leave your car on a large parking lot behind the hotel

Only thing we didn't like is the glass wall separating shower and room. Unfortunately the view is not just on the shower. Easy access to public transportation

The only thing that could be improved is the dining room's furnishings (but that's a matter of taste). The available parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars) are also a plus

Nicely furnished room. It was clean and toilet was well equipped as well. I like the strong water pressure of the shower. location is ok.. probably better if you drove. I like the private parking which was free.

Café Ebner is a great boutique hotel downtown Lindau. Rooms are spacious and modern. Beds are great and we slept very well. Breakfast is amazing ! Price is reasonable and includes breakfast

The hotel had its highlights, especially the breakfast. Fresh fruit, yoghurts, a variety of cheeses, and delicious bread, along with the option to order freshly made eggs, made the mornings a real treat

Despite being early, the hotel could have been more accommodating by either allowing an earlier check-in or securely storing our luggage, which was left in an unmanned area despite us asking for it to be put somewhere safe

It felt like an early sign that the service wasn’t up to the standard we expected. There were other inconveniences, too. You are required to specify a time for breakfast, which felt restrictive

Check-in was strictly at 3 pm, and when we arrived at 1 pm, we were told ‘you are early’ and we were left waiting in an empty reception for 15 minutes, surrounded by unattended luggage

However, the overall service left much to be desired

Some of the tables in the breakfast room are very narrow, so that you have to straighten your legs under the table in order to be able to sit face-to-face. The driveway leads practically through the pedestrian zone

The rooms are okay, though; you can certainly spend a night without a toilet and shower in your room, especially considering the low price. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable

Obviously at this price point there is no air conditioning and it can get very hot in the summer. The staff is very friendly and helpful The breakfast was very good and rich

Some are like in a cheap hotel and therefore okay. Others are so low that I can't stand upright, or only in a certain area because the ground is extremely crooked

It was big enough for two people and had sufficient storage space. The breakfast was really varied but maybe a little drawback - we tend to come to breakfast later, so some things were missing and not replenished

A beautiful little gem in Lindau. From the warm and friendly welcome to the beautiful rooms and SPA area. The hotel seems newly renovated, and all is cozy and clean. Even the SPA area is great for such a hotel

The service was impeccable and everybody was really helpful - the hotel does not have a room service but when we asked for a pizza and a bottle of wine to be delivered to the room, it was not an issue at all

The spa is out of this world, also offering a rooftop pool and a large sauna. We also booked a 90-minute package for two with a jacuzzi, a bottle of prosecco and a fruit platter
