everything was really great. the rooms are huge with a nice and spacious layout with wonderful mattresses on the bed and very comfortable. large shower. every corner was perfectly cleaned. good choice of breakfast.

Clean room, well insulated from noise. The bar is nice. Very close to McDonald’s, a gas station, and the bus stop to get to the city center. However, I was surprised to be charged a parking fee at check-in: €15 per night. It’s the first time I’ve seen a hotel charge extra, even for an uncovered parking lot.

Very good hotel for short stays! Clean in generally, very clean room. Good and friendly receptionists, when I asked for a phone charger I could even borrow the personal charger of the receptionist. Cosy bar en restaurant. But most of all, the bed was very comfortable, I've slept very good 😊 I will come back when passing by Lindau, that's for sure!

Lovely hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, informative and welcoming. Great breakfast with a wonderful selection. Food was constantly being replenished. It was only about a 40 minute walk into the island of Lindau but a regular and punctual bus service was available just outside the hotel. I would have no hesitation in staying here again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Couldn’t get the room cool enough, even with “A/C”, for how thick the comforter was. I wish there was a sheet on the bed. We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

This is one of the best hotels in Lindau. Their restaurant offers a mesmerising view of the lake constance. The food is tasty as well. The staff is very friendly. Easily reachable. Mountain view. Major shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on an island in Lake Constance, connected to the city by a dam. The price is too expensive.

We chose a room with a lake view and were rewarded every morning with stunning views of the lake and the Alps beyond. Comfortable room, lovely staff, excellent breakfast; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

A little old fashioned in decor and feel. Baffling layout to find the pool - no mention in room literature - as its the hotels with adjoining corridors, but seemingly separate.

I was interested in hiking in Bregenz. A short stopover while I make my way to Munich.  I looked on the map and saw Lindau Incel and thought it looked cute. Lots of shops and restaurants. A bit disappointed Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service.

this hotel has an excellent location. While having breakfast on the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean. I'll be happy to come back here again.

It’s a nice unique city and hotel is located in middle of old town. Loved it!

I have heard that some rooms are noisy since it’s next to train station. Our room was quiet and no noise even with the windows open. There is no air con in rooms but they give you a fan. There’s not much other amenities but we didn’t mind. Staff was very helpful and gave us a map around the place with marked spots to visit. Good experience!

We arrived late in the evening for our stay at the hotel, we had previously arranged with reception to pick up our room keycard from a machine outside the hotel as the entrance is not staffed 24 hours. Well located a minutes to the harbour. We had a spacious room with a small seating area. Although a long walk to the room from the lift. Looks like this hotel has taken up two buildings connected . Pretty, old hotel with character located next to the Bodensee. While the rooms are okay, they are out of date. The restaurant is mediocre. And unfortunately, the weirdest part of the hotel is that the sauna is only open between 14.00 and 19.00. While it can be accessed by special request before 14.00 it cannot be used after 19.00. Which makes no sense if you’re staying here for business which many...

A great place to relax. Great selection of wellness treatments. My husband and I liked that we could get to the wellness center by a special elevator. Guests are provided with robes and slippers.

Quaint place with modern amenities

Great place to stay. The hosts are meticulous in how they set up and maintain the rooms. We stayed at many other places on our trip in Europe, and none were as clean and comfortable as our room in Lindau. The only limitation is the location if you want to visit the island. We had no trouble parking and walking to the old section on the island. Highly recommend.

The owner is very nice. The checkin time was a little bit limited only till 6 PM, but the owner was able to accommodate our schedule by putting the key into the lockbox. Breakfast was awesome, parkings is available in the backyard, much more cheaper than the parking garage.

Nice hotel on the main road, but with access to the little village through a second entrance on the rear side of the hotel. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. We had a hard time finding the hotel using Google GPS, so be careful. The hotel has no parking so they recommend a car park that is across the bridge - drop off any luggage first, as it's a bit of a walk. Overall, a nice stay!

We were promised a Lakeview but the lake was too far away

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Garni Reulein. Rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The view from our balcony was beautiful, and the area was very quiet. The hotel has a good breakfast and the bus stop is located right next to the hotel's entrance.

Nice hotel, the rooms are quite big and clean, the view to the lake is really nice. Each room has a balcony with a view and the hotel has a small garden. Some parking spots are available but the parking is not really huge. Free Wi-Fi available Great German breakfast!

Perfect central location, with cozy and spotless rooms. Breakfast was varied and fresh with quality products. What really stood out to me was how friendly and caring all the staff was to us. Everyone was patient and extremely welcoming with my kids, even though we don't speak German. I stayed here twice and twice was not disappointed. Breakfast is OK, water pressure good, Internet tolerable, and the beds were comfy. And it's in a great part ot town. So, what's not to like? Nothing, really. The rooms are a little dated, but that adds to the charme, and sometimes it's a little noisy from outside, but never in a volume I minded. So, yeah, good place to go.

Nice hotel in beautiful city close to Bodensee. Higher prices in comparison to service which they provide. (Reception close 8pm,breakfast average..) i paid apprx. 85€ / night for single room so i would expect more for this price.

We loved everything about this hotel. It's in an excellent location, close to the harbour, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Our room was light and spacious with a really comfortable bed and an ample balcony. The owners were very hospitable and breakfast was superb.

Delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was always very helpful. We reserved the two bedroom and were very pleased with the beds and size of each room. Caution: the church bells toll every 15 minutes through the night which might awaken a light sleeper.

For an apartment type room, it is well stocked for 2 people. The kitchen could use something to actually cook on. Missing bowls. Breakfast is just ok. Of the 2 staff I had contact with, only one spoke English. All that said, it is a great location and quiet.
