In general place is very nice developed meeting high accommodation standards. Rooms neat and bright, very comfortable. Other services, such as breakfast offer, served as a self-service buffet, with high variety of choice and tasty. Everything was great, the rooms are cozy, the indoor pool is great, the breakfast is nice and the staff is so nice. Definitely wanna come back, if you’re thinking to visit the island I’ll 100% recommend staying one night so you can enjoy the amazing views at night!!

We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

everything was really great. the rooms are huge with a nice and spacious layout with wonderful mattresses on the bed and very comfortable. large shower. every corner was perfectly cleaned. good choice of breakfast.

The room was tidy and clean, with sufficient heating that kept the space warm and comfortable. The property also offers free parking, which is very convenient for travelers driving. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Clean room, well insulated from noise. The bar is nice. Very close to McDonald’s, a gas station, and the bus stop to get to the city center. However, I was surprised to be charged a parking fee at check-in: €15 per night. It’s the first time I’ve seen a hotel charge extra, even for an uncovered parking lot.

Very good hotel for short stays! Clean in generally, very clean room. Good and friendly receptionists, when I asked for a phone charger I could even borrow the personal charger of the receptionist. We chose a room with a lake view and were rewarded every morning with stunning views of the lake and the Alps beyond. Comfortable room, lovely staff, excellent breakfast; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

A little old fashioned in decor and feel. Baffling layout to find the pool - no mention in room literature - as its the hotels with adjoining corridors, but seemingly separate.

I was interested in hiking in Bregenz. A short stopover while I make my way to Munich.  I looked on the map and saw Lindau Incel and thought it looked cute. Lots of shops and restaurants. A bit disappointed Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. this hotel has an excellent location. While having breakfast on the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. the rooms are spacious and clean. I'll be happy to come back here again.

We booked a junior suite which featured appalling furnishings from the 70’s. No air conditioning! No tea coffee making facilities. Nothing in the frigobar. A lone bottle of mineral water with a card written Free round it’s neck. Not really true as we had spent 650 for room and half board! Good bed! Good linens. Nicely modernised bathroom. I stayed for a conference for three nights. The hotel is fantastic and is in a beautiful location. Enjoyed breakfast and several meals at the hotel. Lots of cool places to walk to within about 20-30 minutes. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel has a large and wonderful garden. İt is near to Bodemsee and it has a pier. You can see lots of art work inside the historical building of the hotel.

It’s a nice unique city and hotel is located in middle of old town. Loved it!

I have heard that some rooms are noisy since it’s next to train station. Our room was quiet and no noise even with the windows open. There is no air con in rooms but they give you a fan. There’s not much other amenities but we didn’t mind. Staff was very helpful and gave us a map around the place with marked spots to visit. Good experience!

Perfect central location, with cozy and spotless rooms. Breakfast was varied and fresh with quality products. What really stood out to me was how friendly and caring all the staff was to us. Everyone was patient and extremely welcoming with my kids, even though we don't speak German. We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Garni Reulein. Rooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The view from our balcony was beautiful, and the area was very quiet. The hotel has a good breakfast and the bus stop is located right next to the hotel's entrance.

Nice hotel, the rooms are quite big and clean, the view to the lake is really nice. Each room has a balcony with a view and the hotel has a small garden. Some parking spots are available but the parking is not really huge. Free Wi-Fi available Great German breakfast!

Quaint place with modern amenities

Great place to stay. The hosts are meticulous in how they set up and maintain the rooms. We stayed at many other places on our trip in Europe, and none were as clean and comfortable as our room in Lindau. The only limitation is the location if you want to visit the island. We had no trouble parking and walking to the old section on the island. Highly recommend.

It was such a lovely experience, beautiful, lovely sweet owners, great hospitality, great location, breakfast super and rooms very cozy and extremely clean. I'm definitely going back and give my highest recommendation. Thumbs up all the way 👍😁🫶

Excellent location, great bfast, traditional building yet up to date rooms.

Over the winter holidays we visited 4 different hotels. This hotel was by far our favorite. We wanted a warm vibe. The room was beautiful, we had a 3rd story room with as tiny window which led to a cute rooftop view. Our room was the largest we had in a week, bright and welcoming. The staff was so helpful. I only regret not having spent more time there.

We loved everything about this hotel. It's in an excellent location, close to the harbour, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Our room was light and spacious with a really comfortable bed and an ample balcony. The owners were very hospitable and breakfast was superb.

Delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was always very helpful. We reserved the two bedroom and were very pleased with the beds and size of each room. Caution: the church bells toll every 15 minutes through the night which might awaken a light sleeper.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel, arriving and departing by bike. Our room No 9 was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, light and airy. The owner is very nice. The checkin time was a little bit limited only till 6 PM, but the owner was able to accommodate our schedule by putting the key into the lockbox. Breakfast was awesome, parkings is available in the backyard, much more cheaper than the parking garage.

Very friendly amd helpful staff. Great location close to Lindau island to which you can go with a free bus which stops almost directly in front of the hotel + you can leave your car on a large parking lot behind the hotel. There is a beer garden outside - great place to hang out in the evenings.

The workers were extremely friendly & welcoming and offered great recommendations for things to do in the town. Stayed at Anker Lindau Island in September, arriving on our bicycles. The check-in kiosk was not working properly but the manager of the restaurant next store was able to help. Our room was on the top floor, many steps but was very spacious and bright. A porch off the bedroom with rooftop views was wonderful. There was limited parking for bicycles, plan ahead if you wish to bring your bikes inside...

Only stayed for one night, but the room was nice. We realized we left something in the room after returning the keys but before check-out time, and the machine did not recognize my reservation to issue a new key.

It is located in the heart of town. You only has to walk few minutes from car park or train station. The robot-reception is easy to manage. Nonetheless, too many stairs has to be pass to reach your room ( the mine was at the top. In case of hot weather is not the best place to choose, even with a provided fan.

Its location is perfect, it close to the city center, harbour, and even inselhalle. Unfortunately their wifi is super slow. And no elevator, only stairs.

Café Ebner is a great boutique hotel downtown Lindau. Rooms are spacious and modern. Beds are great and we slept very well. Breakfast is amazing ! Price is reasonable and includes breakfast .Would highly recommend this place if you spend some time in Lindau.

We visited this Hotel earlier. The rooms are traditional but functional. Each room has a different look. The building is very old and they carefully refurbished everything. The service is great. What an amazing hotel! My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The hotel is super comfortable, great location and wonderful breakfast. One thing to note is that the front desk closes at 6pm so you need to get there before 6pm on check in day. If you're staying in Lindau, I highly recommend staying here!

We visited the small but beautiful Hotel Adara in Lindau again. We had a Suite which was very nice. They conserved the old style of the house but renovated everything to a modern standard. We had other rooms, all were nice but this one was bigger. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room clean. We will come back.

The rooms are very different. Some are like in a cheap hotel and therefore okay. Others are so low that I can't stand upright, or only in a certain area because the ground is extremely crooked. The bed is lined accordingly on one side so that you don't roll out. When entering the room, I pulled the cobwebs off the ceiling with my hairdo. I'm 2m tall, but still...
