Location — 9/10
Very convenient. The hotel is located close to the metro, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the city center or the main train station. This is the hotel’s biggest advantage.
Hotel and room — 4/10
The hotel itself is very old. The furniture and interior are clearly outdated, and it feels like there hasn’t been any renovation for a long time. The only thing that really saves the situation is the excellent cleanliness — the rooms are perfectly clean. Full credit for housekeeping, but the hotel definitely needs an update.
Breakfast — 5/10
Breakfast costs €18, which I find quite expensive for what is offered. Nothing special: standard sandwiches, yogurt, scrambled eggs. It’s enough to eat, but the price is not justified.
Comfort — 3/10
Comfort is very poor. I was glad I had earplugs with me.
– you can hear the ventilation system from the neighboring room
– neighbors are very loud, especially those on the balconies (the balconies face each other directly)
– the room is very hot
– there is no proper way to control the temperature
Value for money — 5/10
I find the prices overrated. For the same price, if rooms had been available, staying at an Ibis hotel would have been a better option with a higher level of comfort. This hotel feels too old for the price it charges.

Really good stay for the price paid. Very comfy pillows and mattress. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to local transport

An 'ok' hotel. Good location, within 15 minutes walk of the old town. In regards to staff, the ones in the breakfast room are very nice, the ones on reception not so great. Some pretend to make an effort, at times, but that's about it. The rooms are very basic, outdated, ours had some mould on the grout in the shower. Like I said, an ok hotel.

The staff was terrible when we got in the room was the furthest from the elevator and we asked to change rooms and they said no and their were plenty of rooms that they could have changed, because you could see all the rooms that hadn't checked in yet. the place needs a serious update it smells. There was mold in the bathroom that was painted over.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but my experience fell far below expectations. The room itself was underwhelming — the bed was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, and the amenities were extremely basic for the price. However the rooms we booked were clean, but nothing about the space felt welcoming or well thought-out.

The breakfast was another letdown. While technically “included,” it was as average as it gets: mediocre quality, and nothing that would make you want to come back for a second morning. It was just ok, but nothing special.

The worst part of the stay, however, was the check-out process. The reservation clerk "lady" named K. on her Saturday shift was noticeably arrogant and unhelpful, making what should have been a simple departure unnecessarily unpleasant. Stuff in low class hotel acts better that this person. Her colleague had to handle her unproffesional attitude so we were able to leave.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are plenty of better options in the area that offer more comfort, better service, and a more enjoyable experience for 250 Euro/night.

!!!BED BUGS!!! We stayed here one night and got bedbugs. We noticed the bites after checking out and called to report it. We were told “oh theres no manager here so if you want to complain you have to write an email”. Terrible service, terrible cleanliness. Dont stay here.

Absolutely not bad for one night, enroute home or holiday. Luggage is safe in the car in the underground garage. Room not bad and the bed sleeps amazing! Bathroom needs attention... Walking distance to the historic centrum and a basic but good breakfast.

Great location, very close to Castel.
Transportation is also very close: U-Bahn and Bus is very close to reach to connect to other places in the city.
