For the replies from the management:
1. I was talking about my mistake that I saw your description after booking your apt. I was not complaining your apt. Roland, I don't know what you are so excited for?
2. This apt is 300 meters away from your front desk. There is neither a phone nor an intercom in the apt for contacting the front desk. If any questions, I am unable to talk to you directly. Does it make sense to me to make 600 meters round trip just to ask you abt the heater? Not for me. If you management are not satisfied with the term "insufficient" staff availability. I may change it to "limited". Are you happy with that?
3. The floor heater works well in the living space, but not so good in the bedroom. The bedroom is a little bit cold.
Roland, for repaying your favor of transporting my heavy luggage to upstairs. I can write whatever you want me to write apart from the truth. We may talk abt it offline. Sounds good?
My major problem occurred the day I was supposed to check out. Check out is at 11AM. That morning I had to go out to get a covid test to fly back home, I ate an early lunch, and lost track of time so that when I arrived at the hotel to grab my stuff, my keycard locked me out. The way they have it designed, you cannot even enter your floor from the elevator without a working key card. All of my belongings were locked away and my train to Frankfurt was leaving in less than 2 hours. Because it was past staff working hours, nobody was available to let me in.
I was panicked knowing my stuff was inaccessible and there was absolutely no one to contact for help. I finally found an emergency number to call but nobody would answer. I must have called 7 times. I was 30 minutes from getting on my train to another city as I figured I just had to leave my things behind when I decided to call one last time. A woman finally picked up, I explained what happened, and she came to the hotel to let me in. I am incredibly thankful for her and tipped her 50 Euros. I fully understand I screwed up by not checking out on time, but this could happen to anyone because the staff only work there for 4 hours in the morning. What if I had just simply lost my room key? Nobody would have been there to help me, and their emergency number is not answered in a timely manner, if at all. Their working hours are ridiculous and dangerous. I would never stay there again because of this. Travelers beware.
