Amazing stay Wow what a treat after a couple of very average hotels on our trip. Felt like a 5 star resort treatment. Great spa, great underground parking, friendly service, epic room, awesome rooftop bar, easy walk to lake. Will definitely visit again and can highly recommend.

The Alpen Chalets were very good - clean, lot of space for 3 adults. Service was great in the Restaurant Senger and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner in Restaurant Senger for nearly 5 days and we liked the food. Spa with massages is also very good. In general excellent experience. This was our 3rd visit during Christmas times and we like it here.

This is possibly the most magical place I have ever stayed. The staff treated us like kings, the facility was flawless, and the views took our breath away. I was so sad to leave that I almost forgot my passport. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy Bavaria at its best

Lovely studio Wonderful hotel. Beautiful studio apartment. Genuinely couldn't have been better and the pictures don't do it justice. The 2 beds are on a landing above so after putting our child to bed we had the whole living space downstairs to ourselves.

This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany. They have assorted meats, smoked salmon, fruits, assorted jellies, the best coffee and more. I highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever layed in. The mattress was super worn down and that's something you do not expect when paying 280€ per night. The hotel itself is a little bit worn down. (dark corroidors, carpet floors, old smell). The service although was super nice and the location amazing.

My family and I recently stayed at Der Westerhof. We so enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and a delicious breakfast was served every morning. We had a gorgeous view of lake Tegernsee from our room. We would definitely recommend Der Westerhof for a stay in Tegernsee.

If you fancy a more casual bite to eat, rather than fine dining, this is a good place to come. The food was good, with a special mention for the sliced potatoes, which were even better than the fries / frittes. The relish on the burger was also great. The host was hilarious, and really added to the whole experience. We only came for dinner, so I can't comment on the rooms.

Reversed psychology, when entering the hotel and walking up the stairs to the rooms, you might question your decision booking this hotel. However once you open the room doors, you are greeted with a modern room with amazing views of the lake. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choices and it comes with a lake view. It is a very lovely hotel with a wonderful breakfast. The owners are elderly and I was so happy to see them having a breakfast with the guests. Today there are many hotel chains, but I am glad that I could choose for a family business.

I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. This is the third time we‘re enjoying this truly excellent boutique hotel. Rooms, location ( just minutes away from great restaurants, beach and lakefront trails ) and service of this dog- friendly hotel are nothing else than fabulous.
