Where to stay in Tegernsee

This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany. They have assorted meats, smoked salmon, fruits, assorted jellies, the best coffee and more. I highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

My family and I recently stayed at Der Westerhof. We so enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and a delicious breakfast was served every morning. We had a gorgeous view of lake Tegernsee from our room. We would definitely recommend Der Westerhof for a stay in Tegernsee.

Amazing stay Wow what a treat after a couple of very average hotels on our trip. Felt like a 5 star resort treatment. Great spa, great underground parking, friendly service, epic room, awesome rooftop bar, easy walk to lake. Will definitely visit again and can highly recommend.

This is possibly the most magical place I have ever stayed. The staff treated us like kings, the facility was flawless, and the views took our breath away. I was so sad to leave that I almost forgot my passport. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy Bavaria at its best

Lovely studio Wonderful hotel. Beautiful studio apartment. Genuinely couldn't have been better and the pictures don't do it justice. The 2 beds are on a landing above so after putting our child to bed we had the whole living space downstairs to ourselves.

I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable price.

Perfect lication in Tegernsee. All rooms overlook the beautiful lake. The ferry docks are rights across the street along with the lakefront promenade.

A cozy but somewhat spacious hotel. It has a restaurant with two sides - inner "oldschool", a really pleasant authentic vibe. And street side with glass walls where you can enjoy the great lake/mountain view. Local people are enjoying their evening there and it's really relaxing. We spent two nights here recently and had a chance to dine at the restaurant on premises. Loved it very much and the hospitality from the staff here was truly reflective of the Bavarian “gastgeber” attitude, friendly, welcoming and going out of their way to look after you. wife and I have stayed several times. This time we stopped on our drive from Italy crossing the Alps to Munich on a beautiful October day. We stopped for a small, delicious lunch on the patio. We enjoyed the fall sun and the one of a kind 180 degree view over the Tegernsee, into the Alps we just had driven through. We continued on to drive another hour to our Munich hotel.
