Hotels in Bad Wiessee

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

Great fresh breakfast, very good location, All very friendly, rooms very nice and clean! I can only recommend it.

I thought the place was pretty nice. Rooms are definitely a bit dated and the whole town didn't seem friendly towards tourists who don't speak German. The breakfast was great though. Saunas were nice too

We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Excellent breakfast and really friendly front-office staff, couldn't say the same though for the restaurant staff...

Traditional style apartment with views and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen and very good bathroom. Sitting and dining area well appointed. Beds are comfortable, large and heating in winter if anything too effective so we turned most of the radiators off. 50 metres or so to the main hotel which is where checkin takes place. Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. The restaurant ist very good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend a stay here!!

Good and Funny place Was a great stay. But noice from the road early in the morning were quite massive. Rooms are without Aircon. Spa area were very good. Dining at the location as well superb, but the menu card is limited for a 3 days stay. Area outstanding, extremely beautiful!

Great place to stay if you're planning to spend some time hiking or biking around Tegernsee. Also worked for a team off-site with good facilities for planning and team work. Nice casual breakfast and Asian inspired lunches :) Rooms where clean, bed comfortable, and design a bit retro.

Beautiful location and proximity to restaurants and activities in the valley.

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast buffet and high quality. The head waiters was so nice and taking care of guests although the restaurant was full. Rooms are nice, quit spacious with traditional furniture.

We stayed for 1 week including half board in the Hotel Alpenhof. Everything was perfect, breakfast menu with a good hygiene concept was very rich and the dinner was high quality and delicious. The decor of the rooms after the renovation was modern, everything was clean, the bathrooms were new. All in all a good thing, we'll be back.

Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a well stocked mini bar including chocolate. The staff ate very helpful and attentive. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the lake which is a very good place to walk to see some wildlife and take in some fresh air.

Very warm welcome. The hotel has been tastefully renovated while preserving the charm of its royal era. Only the bathroom could have been a little more modern. Excellent breakfast.

A very nice hotel, located right on Lake Tegernsee. We spent a few days there with the kids. Schnitzers Dahoam was our base for several excursions. The owners are very friendly and gave us great tips. And the "golden autumn" is simply beautiful. There were several guests with dogs. We don't have a dog ourselves, but the dogs were friendly and didn't bother us at all. Our little one was even allowed...

A very nice dog-friendly hotel. We had an all-around wonderful stay at this hotel. The restaurant also impressed us: both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location is quiet and idyllic, and all major attractions are easily accessible. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return. We would happily recommend the hotel to anyone.

Food absolutely great. The wellness area is getting old and will certainly not be maintained due to the planned new construction in 2020. Location is great and for a holiday with dog, the house is very accommodating. Will certainly stop by after the conversion.

The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1.80cm. Thanks to the many sloping roofs have hit my head several times. Everything was clean, the mattresses of the beds were good. The breakfast is very good. The boss is very friendly and personable.

The biggest positive surprise I've experienced in a hotel so far. We had room 1 on the ground floor. Lovingly furnished suite with a huge terrace and romantic garden. Breakfast has everything you could wish for as a guest. But the real highlight of this hotel are the hosts. Super friendly, always attentive and courteous. Absolut tip for spending some nights in the Tegernsee area. Friendly staff, stylish bathroom, tasty dinner and amazing breakfast (mostly a la carte and all included!) were only beat by the view from our room. We cannot wait to come back!

The service was great, food is delicious, but the difference make the friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms a newly renovated with a modern touch but still remain cosy at the same time.

Wonderful old building with beautiful traditional interior. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is large and well equipped. Excellent views of the lake, mountains and countryside. Wifi is not very good but is adequate for email and general surfing.

Frau Schreiber was very friendly and welcoming. The unique room decorations were so sweet and delightful! The other staff, particularly the cheerful and friendly Bulgarian room maid and the breakfast waiter who kept offering prosecco were superb. The room was very comfortable with nice balcony and plenty of space. The bed was comfortable too.

At the beginning of the month we shared a few rooms in the guest house. We were very satisfied, the rooms are wonderful, very clean and the hosts were TIPTOP. Very nice hotel, we received a very warm welcome and were offered help carrying our suitcases. Rooms are very clean, our bed was nice and big for two people, bathroom a bit narrow but still nice. We stayed at the hotel last weekend with a total of 8 people and were all very enthusiastic, nice reception by the senior boss, great rooms, simply comfortable and so beautifully decorated, especially the large balcony is great. Breakfast very good, plenty of parking spaces directly at the house. 2-3 very good restaurants nearby, the junior chef gives great tips! You are at the lake in 2-3 minutes...

Less than 200 metres from the crystal clear waters of the Tegernsee. A generous sized room with small balcony offering beautiful views to the mountains. Excellent breakfast on the wooden terrace. And of course the wonderful Uta–one of nicest hosts we've ever met

Clean spacious rooms, small bathroom, adequate and clean in quiet rural location. Heated outdoor pool was a nice touch at all times of year. Comfortable beds and bedding. Breakfast was good with ample selection all served from a very small footprint. Very good location. 100m from the Tegernsee lake. Clean and cozy. Also quiet when you don't have callous tourist-neighbours.

Reasonable Price, very good location directly at the lake. You get Tegerncard on arrival. To bad the bathroom is very small, pillows were smelly. Breakfast was good, you can take many coffees but the buns were not fresh. Overall okay stay, would go there again.

This place is amazing! We had reserved two rooms. One single and one junior suite. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean. Hotel staff called me and left my keys and the instructions for after hours check in. It was easy. Parking is on the premises, free. Breakfast in am. We would recommend it and would love to come back again.

We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. The bath was a bit small but everything was working as expected. Furnitures and bed were ok. The staff was friendly. The breakfast served on the table (!) was good and healthy. All in all a good hotel,.

My room was really lovely and cozy with a nice big terrace! Loved the set breakfast tables with the fruit-bowls, etc.
