I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The location is right in the action for the town, and it's across the street from the lake so I had a really nice view from the room.

The restaurant is very good, opting to eat there twice for dinner. The breakfast which was included in the room was very good too.

The front desk team spoke perfect English which I appreciated and their directions and suggestions were very much appreciated.

The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable price.

Difficult to get to train station from property. A long walk with luggage and no help from the hotel. Taxi was unavailable as we were leaving at 7 am. Lots of noisy traffic.

Perfect lication in Tegernsee. All rooms overlook the beautiful lake. The ferry docks are rights across the street along with the lakefront promenade.

Hotel has an uninterrupted view of the lake which was why we booked the room. If budget allows make sure book one of the panorama rooms with a balcony. Absolutely stunning view especially with sunset. Check in staffed from three in afternoon. Was not the warmest of welcomes. Having said that no issues when we requested late check-out. Room was large and had recently been furnished. Clean, fresh and comfortable. Nice bathroom with large shower. Ate in restaurant in evening. We went half-board which in retrospect was a mistake for my wife there were limited options for a coeliac on the menu. What we did have was fine however. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Hotel well located for walk along promenade. Plenty of parking.

A cozy but somewhat spacious hotel. It has a restaurant with two sides - inner "oldschool", a really pleasant authentic vibe. And street side with glass walls where you can enjoy the great lake/mountain view. Local people are enjoying their evening there and it's really relaxing. The room is great, more spacious than I imagined, even with a baby crib. Breakfast was excellent.

We were standing at the entrance for 10 minutes but nobody asked us what we wanted. Waiter was drunk, it took way too long to get and at there and we had to look for him to pay. When he appeared he was extremely impolite and unprofessional. It is not a recommended place and we won’t come back anymore.

The owner tells u not to park in spaces for a fire lane, then parks there, and says it's ok because he is the owner... don't waste your time

A little noisy, older and "rustic"but absolutely by the price/performance is justified.
Very, very nice Service!
Absolutely recommended for a nice short holiday! One is anyway the whole day on the road and "only" to Stay and eat in the Hotel. Right on the tegernsee situated "separated" by a normal busy "main street". Idyllic and family!
