The lady behind the counter was nice. There was a little miscomunication because we booked through booking.com and selected creditcard, but for some reason that didn't work for their hotel and we had to pay there.
Overall nice hotel to stop in between a long drive. Don't think I would choose this hotel if I had to be there for more than 2 night though.
Booking was done with no cancelation policy.
As soon as i spoted the error i contacted the reception. Although the lady i spoke to seemed very kind and understanding regarding the error i made, her manager, was neither of those.
In these times, taking advantage of someone's error just to charge the money seems quite cheap.
I wonder how do people with such low moral standards get in managing positions.
It was my error afterall but a bit of understanding and clemency goes a long way!
Word of advice..., never book in hotels that don't provide canceling options, especially in Mercure Hotel Wuerzburg!!!
