AC Hotel, Wurzburg1 / 20
8.6
Wurzburg, Schweinfurter Str. 12 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
AC Hotel Wurzburg is actually quite nice in interior design. Yet the guestroom doesn't provide enough space to hang our clothing. Very small wardrobe. Not enough hanger in the bathroom for hanging the Bath Towels & Hand towels. The worst thing is : not providing daily housekeeping. Only every 3 days the housekeeper will clean the room. I stay for 4 nights . On the 3rd night finally our room was...
The hotel is very nice, quite new and the rooms are comfortable same as the bed. Breakfast is good as per AC standards mostly, so it’s a good option to stay in Würzburg. The only thing could be the location in case you want to go to the downtown, since you have around 20-25 minutes walk, and in the beginning the streets are not very beautiful, anyways is not a big deal. The pubic transportation in...
Pretty typical for a Marriott hotel. Nice rooms with reasonably helpful staff (not nearly as helpful as many smaller hotels I've stayed at). Clearly geared toward business travelers. Nothing is free. The staff clearly tries very hard to just stay out of your way and not be noticed.
Maybe it was my mistake to book through booking.com but there's been a few things i definitely didn't like: - I requested a travel cot for my little daughter which didn't get provided (although written on booking.com that it would be) - the door to the room is so heavy it's hard to get your luggage and/or a buggy through the door - there's no way to air out the room or change the temperature - Parking...
I've stayed in this hotel a few times, as well as the neighbouring Moxy. Both are part of the Marriott group. They always look after me and are friendly at reception. I got a nice upgrade, and a welcome drink. This isn't always available and not to everyone (I have the gold card, which is about a middle tier, but I didn't use it to book, so this was discretionary) but each time I've stayed, they have...
I stayed for a week and can’t say I have any major complaints. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 to various tram and bus services. Didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can only say there's a Lidl right next to it with cheap prices. The room was overall clean and spacious, but way too dark in the evenings even with all the lights on. There were plenty of clothing hangers, and a kettle...

Mum happy for the room, clean nice and model style! Can walk to old bridge ❤️
Decent hotel. Rooms were a little small, but they were very tidy. On arrival we were unsure how we could enter the parking garage, but we had to chose the underground parking garage which could just be entered by pressing a button to receive your ticket. The parking costs €18 per 24 hours which is pretty decent. The parking garage itself is a little sketchy. You park your car on ramps that look like...
Here we felt at home, the staff were all friendly, the rooms clean and welcoming and the breakfast was mouth-watering, we are already looking forward to be back soon : )
From the station, it's just a one-stop bus or tram ride. The hotel is located in a quiet area and is conveniently close to the Alte Mainbrücke (Old Main Bridge), so I highly recommend it!
Breakfast - which is also important to us - has a good selection. One advice would be to check the price you are going to pay for the room. We paid far to much for the quality of the room / this hotel we got
spacious room, good breakfast, comfortable beds, sentral. Staff helped us with a breakfast to go when we had to leave before the restaurant opened

Efficient and reasonable value for money
Enjoyed our stay short walk to centre
Great place to stay outside of the city center. Big parking garage right next door. Uncomplicated, calm.
The hotel was great, but in the refrigerator was mold, thats why 4 stars. Everything was great, clean room, clean bathroom, clean bed and great air condition. Breakfast was very good, very big variation. Except from the refregirator, everything was great.
We stayed for just one night but we were surprised by all the details they offered... Like treats for our dogs or even being allowed to have a big beer as the welcome drink, which is not even possible in most luxury Accor properties. Breakfast was amazing and the team is phenomenal.

Easy to drive to and good parking. Good sized room. Hot shower. Friendly staff speaking English. Tram or walk to old town Wurzburg.
Basic hotel, wonderful town Arrived 2pm and had to use outside booking facility even though a member of staff was inside the hotel behind a locked door! Staff (male) not very friendly. Basic hotel, good breakfast, 50 minute walk into a beautiful town. The town is stunning with architecture, shops and good food.
Check in was really easy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Love that the room has a balcony with chairs and a table. The fridge was a nice surprise (there was a little mold in the drain). Room size is ok, I had smalle in Europe and Japan. The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but the hot water came in fast. Breakfast was great. I love German breads and cheese from all around. Fresh...
This hotel is great . The staff is super helpful . Kilian is great ! Gave us a lot of recommendations to go around for dinner. In a really good area . Rooms are awesome . Not big but great for a 1-2 night stay if you’re in the area . Train station across the street and parking is right next door if you’re driving . Would definitely come back
Great stay! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was alright, only 15 minutes to the center, and the price is great. Highly recommend!
Nice straff . The room was good( we had one with balcony). Parking with surveilance for 4.50 euro is a +. Close to supermarkets and Mc Donalds etc. The tram did stop right outside the Hotel.

Stayed here for three nights. Rooms are small but that is the norm for older hotels in Europe. The location is excellent with a beautiful view of the fortress and Kappele on the hills across the river. Staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning is a self-serve of fruit, baked goods scrambled eggs, bacon with coffee machine. Vending machine has water, sodas etc but there is a...
Rooms are average. Service is decent. Breakfast options are not that great. Nothing to complain though. A good deal compared to price tag. Location is priceless. Always opt for a room with castle view.
I am not even a guest of the hotel. I am a passing tourist in a boat that was in need of receiving a Amazon package. I asked Walfisch hotel if I could recieve it at their adress. Jonathan at the reception showed the outmost service friendly manner, very courteous, "yes" mindset, right person in the right place when not just helping me to get the package there but also letting me use the lobby for...
Decent hotel in a great location- good buffet breakfast, great service from all the staff. We were there in a heat wave and the a c was not quite up to it, but we were on the 4th floor so could open windows. The location is right next to the river, across the river from the Marienberg fortress and near many other historic sites, close to many restaurants and lots of stores. The tram line has a...

Rooms are tight, but very nice. Good value. Bathroom was spotless and looked to be very new. Would have liked a hot water pot, but other than that, no issues. Was quiet....no outdoor noise.
The hotel is in a good location, the staff friendly, and the rooms clean and cozy. 4 stars because they don't offer discount for parking. Though, if one plans carefully, street parking is free after 1900.
Good room with sunrise and full of light, nice breakfast, loved it overall
We were in Würzburg over Easter 🐣, and the hotel was very centrally located. Our family room was spacious. Dog-friendly. A modern parking garage was just around the corner. Friendly staff and a varied breakfast, although we missed gluten-free pastries. Highly recommended.
The only real small issues were the thin pillow, tiny shower and curtain that didnt quite reach the floor. And they use keys and everyone had trouble figuring out which way to turn them and it made alot of noise.
Small, quaint hotel in the heart of the charming town of Wurzburg. Staff are friendly (and thankfully fluent in English), the rooms are neat and clean, and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Good value, and close to restaurants and the town centre.

Clean, easy access, good breakfast and an outstanding pizzeria right across the street that also delivers to your room.
Nice and quiet free parking outside the hotel, not luxury but fair for the price.
Decent hotel. English is not their cup of tea. Access to the underground parking is tricky and very narrow. No direct access to the underground parking from the hotel. Food/breakfast is great. Shower cabin is tiny.
My room was assigned on the ground floor, and since there were trash bins and food waste containers right in front of the window, I was unable to open it. Although it was stated that free parking was available, I had to pay a parking fee.
mediocre not as close to A7 as expected. impossible to park near hotel.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and with the windows closed, it was quiet at night. The staff was also very friendly, and the online reservation was trouble-free. The hotel is a little out of the city, but there's a bus stop right outside, making it very convenient for getting around, and you can buy tickets right there. If you look for atmosphere, quiet and location where you leave the place to walk, hike or jog (in essence for something different), look no further. And then, there is the library! The perfect hang-out to unwind. It is not what you are used from your standard North American hotel chain. Rooms are very clean, breakfast buffet is great. I am returning since 20 years, its well worth it.
Overall a very enjoyable stay at this quiet gem directly by the Main river. Super friendly staff, very accommodating. Loved the fact that it is certified organic and the library room is gorgeous. Clean rooms and comfy beds, too!
We were able to reserve rooms her for us and a friend. They were quiet flexible with us, allowing the friend to share a spot at the table for breakfast even though he was not a hotel guest( he paid for his breakfast of course 16 euro). Rooms were clean and tidy. Unfortunately no real dark curtains to prevent sunlight (bring a sleeping mask if that bothers you). One star less for the breakfast logistics...
Hotel am Main is in the perfect location. Steps away from a few charming cafes and a biergarten. We loved having drinks by the beautiful river and then strolling the lovely town. The hotel was clean, friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay here again.
Very nice place to stay! Our room was big enough, quiet and absolutely clean. Beautiful garden can also be used during the breakfast. Breakfast itself is very good organised and we had enough options. Very helpful and friendly staff!

We stayed here because it's close to the train station whereby we needed to make several side trip through the station. Very satisfied. Right across from the train station. Very friendly staff. Very satisfied.
An attractive place to stay close to the bahnhof & old town. Staff are attentive and polite which is important for travellers.
For my daughter's first stay in Würuburg It was a reservation for my daughter who visited Würzburg alone for her 6 month exchange student course. Since she arrived too late that date. I made a reservation there fir her. Thank You for your services. She sleped well and had her breakfast well in your hotel.
Close to the Banhof, friendly staff, but meh. We wanted a hotel close to the train station, and it was indeed very close to the train station. So for that it served our purpose. The beds and pillows weren’t comfortable in our opinion, and no air flow in the room made us both too hot to sleep with a blanket and too cold to sleep without one. A bit outdated but a lot of character. Super clean and a very courteous staff. Kind of reminded me of a ski hotel in the Alps I used to stay at in the 80s. I guess you could say “nostalgic“. Other than needing a few modern upgrades it was a very pleasant surprise. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
Good location This is our third time staying at this hotel as it is perfectly positioned for travelling between Hungary and Rotterdam. Friendly reception, easy check in and nice room but it was so hot. The rooms could do with at least a fan in when it’s this hot. The toilet flush needs to be repaired too as it trickled all night.
Such a great place! Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, and fair price! Plus it is dogs-friendly! I can definetly recommend this place. It is also just a few minutes away in car from Würzburg, which was very nice. I will definetly book this hotel again.
Clean and cozy room. Theare is teapot in the room and testy tea)
Partly renovated, partly lots of old furniture. The bathroom is clean, the room is moderately clean. Overpriced for what they offer.

Because we often land at Würzburg Airfield for work, I was glad to have found this hotel nearby. However, the experience was so so. The perfect location and exceptional service. Delicious food with a vast choice of wines 🍇.
Near the castle and gardens.very good restaurant for dinner.
Service was fine- the food is basically cafeteria style but the waiter brings it to you. I had the chicken and risotto with mushrooms. Obviously the chicken was pre cooked had been sitting in a hot pan waiting for someone to order it. I found it cooked to almost mush but edible with the risotto. Hubby ordered pork with radish and dumpling. He said it was fine.
I stayed here one night while traveling to Austria. The hotel is very nice with clean rooms and nice beds. Breakfast was very extensive. The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.

Hotel was pretty good, clean, and had really beautiful view; but the breakfast was awful! Few personnel(they were tired and really slow), more than 5 min should wait for refilling food! When we arrived most of plates was empty (no bread, no scramble eggs, no bacon, no jam, ...). Room was too busy and everybody waited for refilling. In total unacceptable breakfast.
Fabulous terrace for breakfast or late evening drinks. Bedroom needed updating but was clean and pleasant. Disappointed that our view was blocked totally by a tree and balcony was tiny when such a big deal was made of the balconies on the website. Service was fine, location was fine. Rooms were spacious but right outside the room there was a bar that was open in the evening and it was very disturbing with small children, breakfast was very embarrassing, it is not recommended to have breakfast there - breakfast score 0.
The room has no air conditioning, other things are ok
Very convenient location but it was also very loud all night. The building smelled, as did the bathroom, but we had plenty of space to house our family for the night. We enjoyed the terrace with a lovely view. The breakfast we paid for left a lot to be desired, as the apples were rotten and there wasn't much to go around.
Hotel is ok. Just because no front desk, you’ll have to call hot line for all questions and needs. And the door code at the front door sometimes not working. So I was hesitate to go out in the morning and evening.
