Everything was wonderful, and I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. We visited in December, just before Christmas, and winter in Germany is quite cold. After long walks sightseeing, it was such a comfort to return to the hotel and be welcomed back by Nina, the owner, and Wolfgang at the reception, always greeting us with warm smiles. Coming back to the room with a warm Heizung and enjoying a hot bath made all the difference.

Truly appreciated Nina’s hospitality and the kindness of the entire team.

From the moment of arrival we were welcomed, given a drink of choice and offered a small snack. The hosts were one of the most incredible during our Europe trip. Lots of personal recommendations of the city, and even kind enough to book a resturant reservation for us prior to arrival. Their service is unmatched! They are both truly incredible hosts. During our stay we had a small injury, and they were kind enough to provide hot water bottle to ease the pain. The rooms and view were incredible, location was near all sights, market, and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed at least 2 nights! We Thank you for your hospitality, and hope to on day return!

Centrally-located hotel with comfortable and nicely appointed rooms. Service was warm and friendly. We enjoyed their recommendations. Several nice extra touches, from the chocolates and fresh fruit, to water and snacks with the coffee machine- it felt like returning to a friend's home at the end of the day. Would wholeheartedly recommend to others.

We spent two nights in the most magnificent hotel. We had the top floor with a panoramic view of Wurzburg. Nina and Wolfgang own the hotel, and they do a superb job making their quests feel special and tending to their needs. When we arrived at the hotel, Wolfgang sat down with us and went over all the beautiful sites and their locations, and he gave us a sheet with many recommendations of fantastic restaurants. We ate at two of them and loved the meal, as well as the ambiance. After two nights, we left the hotel early in the morning before breakfast, and Nina packed an amazing breakfast for us. We had sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies, fruit juice, and water. We were so touched by their loving care. If you are visiting Wurzburg, don't miss the opportunity to stay at this outstanding hotel. It is truly the best and so unique!

We stayed here at the end of May as the last stop on our 2 week German drive tour.

The welcome we received from Wolfgang and Nina was beyond exceptional, in fact it was possibly the nicest welcome to any hotel we have received anywhere in the world.

Such lovely people, clearly demonstrating the importance of great customer service. The hotel is well located and extremely comfortable.

This little touches made all the difference, a parking place in the yard for my Porsche, a glass of wine on the 5th floor balcony, a beautiful breakfast clearly assembled with passion, and lots of help with restaurants and sightseeing.

This is a great hotel and a good choice for visiting Wurzburg. The owners customer service is another level, it was a pleasure meeting them.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Würzburg. Nina and Wolfgang were truly the hosts with the most. Parking was directly outside, making for an easy arrival, and we were immediately offered beverages while checking in. Wolfgang gave us a wonderful brief history/overview of the town complete with recommendations. Our room had a lovely little terrace that overlooked the river. The bed was incredibly comfortable, our bathroom had fresh lilies, our mini fridge had complimentary local wine, and the lobby had fresh fruit. If you’re visiting Würzburg, this is the place to stay.

A lovely one night stay in this clean and comfortable hotel. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful and offered great advice as to how to make the most of our short stay in Wurzburg. The location is great for the bridge and the river walk and the centre. Highly recommend.

I don’t normally write review on accommodation as I expect most will have a certain standards and that most of the hotels are a bit better or a little not up to standard from the expected norm. But this hotel is really out of the world when it comes to staff service standards. If all the hotels are run like this, we will not be going home as we felt so pampered by the owner Nina and her partner during our stay. They are like friends taking care of you when you stay with them. And when you think they can’t do any better than the last deed, they surprised you with another warm gesture. Go stay with them when you are in the vicinity.

A last minute search for a hotel in Wûrzburg (after a bad experience in Nûrnberg) brought us to The Hotel am Congress Centrum. What a reception! Personally brought to a parking spot while a welcome drink was prepared. A wonderful breakfast followed by a private touristic info session on Würzburg and surroundings. The hotel owner even proposed to make a restaurnant reservation in a place that is always fully booked. And upon departure, we got a bottle of water for the road and a bottle of Frankenstein as a souvenir. This is what you call a great customer experience.

The breakfast was exceptionally beautiful and delicious, including small dishes of fruits, meats, fish, an egg, salads, cheeses, freshly made spreads and good coffee all different in color and texture and seasoning. The presentation couldn’t be better. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. The recent renovations respect the prewar style of the building and preserves some beautiful decorative details, but add lots of fun modern touches. Really creates a modernized extension of home feeling, like you were visiting a Wurzburg friend’s home. .
