The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the center of Wetzlar. The room was exceptionally clean, and the service was warm and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and the balcony provided a lovely view. I would definitely love to return to this hotel.

Beautifully located in the old town, so everything is within walking distance. I was there without a car, but there are plenty of parking options.

Was a total disappointment. Extremely dirty/stained carpet, room was then changed.. urgently needed renovation inside and out. Breakfast was very limited. Little choice of tea, no cappuccino/espresso, no or very little rye bread/rolls. Price is currently not justified! Location is good though

Unfortunately no air conditioning No fridge TV pixelated Carpet full of stains No croissant for breakfast No milky coffee 1 room wasn't cleaned at all (3 days) - not even no toilet paper 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥 What a shame!

When you ask at reception, you are told that the rooms are only cleaned on request - at breakfast you are told that vegan food components are only available if ordered the day before - you cannot have breakfast on the terrace with the most beautiful view because it is a storage area for broken and old patio furniture and overall the hotel is showing its age. This does not apply to the few staff, who are very friendly and try to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible under the circumstances described.

We were very happy with the hotel. The only negative thing was that the restaurant and bar were closed.
When the reception closed shortly after nine, there was no place to stay except in the room. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.
I will recommend the hotel.

Really beautifully located in old town. Wetzlar has a beautiful cathedral just three minutes away by foot. Learn about Goethe and his life and love in Wetzlar. Eat at Landsknecht restaurant at Kornmarkt.
Lovely people at reception. Parking is along the streets for free.

The hotel is close to the historic center. That's the only positive point. The rooms aren't exactly clean. There are cobwebs on the ceiling, the carpet is stained and the bathroom is just about OK. The staff in general seem overwhelmed. There is no compensation offered for not having the room cleaned if you stay for several days. One can only hope that something changes quickly.
