rooms are clean
gym is very small.
breakfast is very good.
special mention for Dennis at the reception - extremely warm friendly and helpful.
The room was extremely clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff at the reception were professional, friendly, and quick to assist with anything I needed.
The hotel’s design is elegant without being overwhelming, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The location is excellent — close to everything and very convenient for both transportation and daily activities.
Breakfast was well-organized with a good variety, and the service was efficient.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I will definitely choose Avani again in the future.
The room was spacious and tidy for the most part. The bed and air conditioning could've been better but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Check-in was smooth. All my details were filled in on my account for me, so next check in with any Minor hotels would be even faster. The receptionist told me I was given a really nice room (722) and even surprised me with complimentary breakfast.
Upon entering the room, it seems really nice at first. Spacious, lovely view from the panorama window. Looked very clean at first. I did a quick inspection of the room, which showed minor defects and signs of aging (tiny bit of mold in the bathroom, curtain coming off of the railing, LED strip behind the bed in part being disconnected, bathroom trashcan being a little beat up, etc.) but nothing I couldn't look past. I decided I would tell reception at check-out, since they weren't deal-breakers.
Second time entering the room after dinner I came across some silverfish, which did make me go back to reception and inform them. They asked if I wanted a new room, to which I agreed.
I was able to wait in my room and after reception called everything was ready, my new key was brought up to the room. Receptionist was given a tour of room 722 and all defects were pointed out.
During the wait, I did also notice some stained pillows left in the hallway. This seems like an oversight from housekeeping.
Room 720 was less spacious, but still plenty and seemed in line with a what I had originally booked. It was a little noisy, but is to be expected on a busy road with trams. Once again, a tiny bit of mold was spotted in the bathroom and 2 of the LEDs on the light strip behind the bed would flicker. Everything else was perfectly fine.
The TV has an option for Miracast and supports Samsung Dex, which was great. Additionally the WiFi (13Mbps down, 11Mbps up) is good enough to watch videos, for a bit, since it would keep disconnecting me after 10-20 minutes.
Breakfast was great. Even offering cake and freshly made omelette, though the omelette was a bit on the salty side for my personal liking.
Check-out was pretty smooth as well. I once again pointed out the little defects with the room and the receptionist noted them down and informed me he would get in contact with housekeeping.
Would the room(s) have had no defects, this would have been a 5-star rating. Higher if I could give it, because of the seemingly upgraded room and complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately due to the defects I have to deduct points.
I hope these will be fixed, if so, I'd be delighted to stay again if Frankfurt crosses my path again.
