Description

Hotel Jägerhof is a modest two-star accommodation located in Wiesbaden’s city center, offering a range of room types including Run of House, Standard, Standard Single, and Standard Double rooms. The hotel is small and family-run, with a focus on providing clean, quiet rooms at an affordable price. Rooms include essentials such as heating, WiFi, a safety deposit box, and some feature small refrigerators. While the hotel does not offer air conditioning, it provides small fans in rooms. Guests can enjoy a simple breakfast and relax in the shared lounge or on the terrace. The hotel’s service is generally friendly, with some guests highlighting the owner’s warm welcome and helpfulness. However, the hotel operates on a self-check-in system after hours, requiring guests to use a code and key box. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is prohibited throughout the premises.

Location

Situated at Bahnhofstraße 6 in Wiesbaden, Hotel Jägerhof offers a central location just a few minutes’ walk from the city’s shopping area. Nearby dining options include the Restaurant Rossini (158 m) and the highly rated Sushileecious Wiesbaden (172 m). Starbucks is also close by, approximately 374 meters away. The hotel is about 24 km from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) and roughly 8.5 km from the nearest beach, Strand Bastion von Schönborn. Its location near a traffic light crossing means street noise can affect some rooms.

Tips

  • Bring earplugs or request a room away from the street to reduce noise disturbance.
  • Since the hotel lacks air conditioning, expect to rely on small fans during warm weather.
  • For parking, consider using nearby parking garages with day tickets to avoid high street parking costs.

I cannot fault the friendly, small-family welcome here. It's a simple Pension and sometimes that is all you need. Clean, quiet, comfortable.

A small, family-run hotel almost in the center of Wiesbaden. The small, newly renovated single room was fully furnished, including a safe and refrigerator. It's not exactly stylish, and the breakfast buffet is adequate but not opulent. The reception is not staffed at night; arrival requires a code and a key box. The contact person was very friendly.

The price/performance ratio, however, is unbeatable; by comparison, the Intercity train at the train station would have cost three times as much that night.

First ans foremost is so friendly. Breakfast so far is fine. The room is somehow ok but it was too loud that you can hear when your neighbour is discussing.

I recently had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Jägerhof in the center of Wiesbaden. I would especially like to emphasize the warm and hospitable nature of Mr. Zarar Butt – he truly took loving care of me as a guest. My room, although rather simply furnished, was perfectly adequate for my three-day stay. The breakfast was good, and the hotel's central location is simply unbeatable. I highly recommend the hotel!

The staff is very unfriendly, you didn't get a good morning, a hello or anything. The breakfast wasn't fresh either, old fruit smelled like mold, it was all a disaster and then you had to pay €500 for 4 people plus you weren't allowed to have visitors in your room. The other thing, our key was hanging by the door from outside, they took the key Dan with them when I told them that the key was hanging on the door and they had to have it, he first said to me no, I need the key, that will cost me €300 first When my husband told him again he said oh yes, I have the key. So be careful if you want to book a room there, it's not worth just being rude and using the disgusting tricks to make money.

First of all: The owner is really very nice and puts a lot of effort into it, but:
I had a room where you could get claustrophobic. It was really very tiny. I was only there to sleep, but it felt like I was in a storage room. Then directly behind the window was the small smoking terrace. Without a curtain, everyone could see into the room. Plus all the smoke was wafting into the room. I could have closed the window, but it was warm. Very warm. And the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, just tiny fans in the rooms.
The bed was very small considering the size of the room and the mattress was completely sagging. You felt every single feather. There was a small refrigerator right next to the headboard that was making a huge noise and I had to unplug it to sleep. The TV was the size of a tablet.
The room was also very noisy. I heard the noises from the next room as if the other guest was lying right next to me.
There was also only a minimal selection at breakfast. A kind of sausage, a kind of cheese, a bit of packaged jam and honey, muesli and a bit of fruit. Coffee and a boiled egg were brought to the table.
All in all very disastrous, but as I said, the owner puts in a lot of effort and apparently does everything himself. The gentleman's kindness allows many deficiencies to be overlooked.

A very nice, quiet and above all simple hotel. No frills, good breakfast, good all round. Only the bathroom fittings are getting old, but they still fulfill their function.

Rooms not clean and very noisy. The location is central but very noisy. Sleeping only possible with earplugs. Wifi not reliable. I won't book again

For 2-3 days the hotel in the city of Wiesbaden is quite ok. The downside is that there is no on-site parking. Parking in Wiesbaden is not exactly cheap. It is best if you get day tickets in the parking garage. . The staff is very friendly. The rooms are not very luxurious and have a peculiar smell. Due to the fact that the hotel is located at a traffic light crossing, it is incredibly loud. I found the rooms a bit overpriced. The advantage is that you are within a 3-5 minute walk to the shopping area.

Nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful owner. Friendly designed breakfast room with good breakfast. We liked it. Special requests are fulfilled. Room was quiet but small. Many practical shelves. Fridge sometimes noisy. bed is soft. I found that convenient. Centrally located. We would stay there again.
