Where to stay in Hahnenklee-Bockswiese

Absolutely amazing place. The town is wonderful. The hotel itself awesome. The best shower I ever found in a hotel. Super good breakfast, and delicious dinner!!! We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Very nice and cozy hotel, great service in the evening. Unfortunately the female employee at the breakfast buffet was very rude and had a very disrespectful attitude towards us, which I hope will be corrected.

I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. I really liked the breakfast, but unfortunately the warm dishes (scrambled eggs, pancakes) were quite cold. The hotel is in a great location and there are plenty of parking spaces. The children's playroom is unfortunately pretty bleak. A room without windows. No nice wall decoration, furniture looks thrown together. Not a nice place for children...

The staff at the kitchen are very polite and helpful, they are very nice and approached you and greet, I am comfortable when I came inside every breakfast and dinner because they are accomodated. My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

A very nice hotel very different (in a very good way) in relation to the other hotels in the area. It is modern, a nice breakfast and dinner option available in the hotel and in the village are very good restaurant.

Quick in check. Be aware after 18 hrs, reception closed. Bar closed early. Hotel nice, good hotel if you have children. Not possible to sit on the terrasse in the evening. Best restaurant in town, pass the cabel track, up the Hill, right hand, Ratsstube.. it was absolutely top class

Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The rooms are nice and well furnished. Additionally, there is both a small swimming pool and two saunas (1 Turkish, 1 Finnish). Our stay included both breakfast and dinner which is a buffet in the connected restaurant...

The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. At least that's how it felt for someone like me who's usually always connected somehow. Maybe some people would enjoy that 😊 Bike parking...

Good hotel in a old mountain style cabin. The food buffet is German. Nothing over the top but like the place and the nature.

The beds were comfortable, quiet, everything clean, great breakfast, nice surroundings and walks around, the lady taking care of us was very nice, though did only speak german to us but we manage somehow.

Very friendly staff. The room is unfortunately much smaller than the pictures suggest. There was hair and some crumbs on the floor. There are many signs of wear and tear on the walls. The room looks dated. Not the worst room in itself, but I expected more for the price.
