Övernattning vid långresa.
Mysigt hotell i bergen med fina omgivningar och trevlig personal. Man känner att man är i Tyskland.

Quick in check. Be aware after 18 hrs, reception closed. Bar closed early. Hotel nice, good hotel if you have children. Not possible to sit on the terrasse in the evening. Best restaurant in town, pass the cabel track, up the Hill, right hand, Ratsstube.. it was absolutely top class

We booked a room from the pictures, but ended up in Jag Hof behind the front hotel. It Is a very old hotel and it is worn down, the bathroom had cracked tiles, the bed was good in 1990. The wood on the terrasse is so rotten and needs a makeover. The furnitures show heavy use over the years. the restaurant is also in old style but well kept and the service is 100% ok. The front desk reception is also 100% good service. Value for money ... no AC or Climate control, thats important to notice.

Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town.
Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood.
The rooms are nice and well furnished. Additionally, there is both a small swimming pool and two saunas (1 Turkish, 1 Finnish).
Our stay included both breakfast and dinner which is a buffet in the connected restaurant (drinks are extra). The breakfast is great with a wide assortment of options. The dinner was ok.
I can recommend going to the bar in the evening and sampling the delicious cocktails.
If you like hiking there is a very easy trail called the Leibesbank which takes you around the lakes in the area.
No WiFi in the rooms, but it is available in the bar.

The two stars are for the shower with good pressure and the clean table napkins at dinner.. The carpets are too old and dirty and the pool is not clean for the 4 stars stardard

The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. At least that's how it felt for someone like me who's usually always connected somehow. Maybe some people would enjoy that 😊 Bike parking possible in the parking garage.

Good hotel in a old mountain style cabin. The food buffet is German. Nothing over the top but like the place and the nature.
