Charming hotel in a lovely city
Cozy hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff in the middle of an incredibly charming city.
Could have been more thoroughly cleaned and the bed/pillows were not the softest things you'll experience.
We experienced great service and the location in the oldtown of Güstrow was lovely.

I stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice and was well laid out. It is in the centre so there are bar and restaurants a short walk away. All in all a pleasant stay. Thanks

We ended up in Hotel Altstadt out of interest for the artist Ernst Barlach and were a bit apprehensive when arriving by train to Guestrow. We were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is friendly and comfortable, and our room was of a good size with excellent beds. We slept very well. Breakfast was varied and good. The hotel is centrally located in the town and we were able to walk to most sights.

This was one of the worst place to stay!! The bed was not a bed it was a brick stone!! My back was so bad after one night I couldn’t nearly breath or walk. A good night sleep is important when you are drivning 140 mil in two days!
