Not a real 4,5* star hotel if you can get a room with connecting doors to adjacent room with a little baby crying through the night… In general you feel more like in a holiday resort which may be finw but keep it in mind

Breakfast really great but can be crowded and noisy. Quite far from the beach and difficult access, however great views and location on the (steep!) hill with sea on both sides

The only thing I‘d like to point out is that the pool could have been 1-2 degrees warmer, but it was still good and warm enough ;) Likely coming back one day!

The ad said most rooms have a balcony. But when we arrived, in order to have a room with a balcony we had to pay 150 extra. The pool was too cold to enjoy fully. The hotel is in a good location

Good breakfast with local products (sea buckthorn) which charmed us, swimming pool open all year round, good location. A nice gesture at the end in the gift (water and bread).

Fabulous place. Very friendly and very close to the beach and many good restaurants. We had a very spacious appartment that was spotlessly clean - and a wonderful breakfast also!

Beautiful, spacious apartment on the ground floor. We felt very comfortable here. Although the hallway of the apartment is shared with the smaller holiday apartment at the rear of the villa, this didn't bother us at all

Everything was clean and lovingly furnished. The cupboards contain a selection of interesting books. Even dish soap and dishwasher tablets were provided in the kitchen

Parking is available directly on the villa's grounds. Last but not least, we should mention the friendly host, who was always available to answer any questions

When the weather was nice, he always put a toy box in the garden for our children, thank you very much for that :)

The location of the hotel is also fantastic, as the beach is only a few meters away. We felt completely at ease and it won't be the last time that we have been there. Very clear recommendation from us

Everything was just right: a comfortable and clean room, excellent service (friendly and very attentive staff), a great breakfast, a quiet yet central location (about 500 meters from the beach), and perfect for allergy sufferers (non-smoking hotel, no pets allowed)

Very nice staff, in the hotel, reception, "Zum Kranich" (especially Mrs. Kaiser in the service) cleaning. The family room was a good size, daily cleaning. The food was varied, fresh and tasty

There is no reception in the building; it is located 200 meters away. The upper floor is only accessible by stairs and is not suitable for elderly people. The parking lot looks neglected

Room was a good size and very clean, and very quiet (though there is an infant school next door and must have been summer creche so occasional shrieks!) Ground-floor room has a balcony that overlooks car park but is fairly screened by greenery and tall trees make it attractive setting

All in all our stay was quiet and relaxing - and in a beautiful location on a cycle route along the waterfront. The short rowing boat trip over to the hotel was part of the whole adventure and good fun

The food was delicious - the hotel had an excellent high-quality breakfast buffet including smoked fish and delicious pastries and fruit salad, and dinner was unusual and tasty

The pool was small but clean and great to relax in, we were given fluffy white bath robes. In the evening the bar boat next door was atmospheric and welcoming, in a lovely location

Originally we booked breakfast for one day but extended it to have breakfast every day as it was perfect for adults and children alike and worth the price

Lovely place in Sellin We really enjoyed our stay in this duplex apartment in lovely Sellin on Rügen island. This place is ideal for two couples or a family with two kids as it’s big enough for 4 people

The living and dining area is downstairs and the bathroom too. Upstairs there are two nice bedrooms. The whole place is modern, stylish, comfy and very clean

Great on-site parking, and everything was in order (except for a wine opener that had loose screws), well equipped. A bit of a bad internal location of our apartment which was right on the main road

Receptionists should know about the best local hiking trail from Sassnitz to Königstuhl, but instead they said “You cannot hike there”. We did in fact hike 8km that day. Not very helpful staff in this regard.

The whole experience was great from the friendly receptionist, the cosy ambiance of the lobby with the candles all over. I got a spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the sea like a mini suite

The food at the very romantic restaurant is very good with helpful staff and smiling. You should definitely book a spa treatment and Sandra with her magical hands could relax my head pain and neck stiffness

Good hotel, it's not luxury, but we liked it! There are some reports about rooms with a view on the parking, that must be the smaller rooms. We had a superior room, and it had a nice view

My 4th trip to Binz, decided to stay here this time. Towels were changed daily unless requested otherwise. Bedsheet will not be changed as standard of Europe

This area they work on minimal staff but they do not compromise or affect standards. Buffet breakfast was good too

A quite nice hotel, is a bit worn out by now and the spa area as well. So in terms of price compared to many other hotels is a bit too high, I think. But a nice town with nice restaurants, a nice beach and promenade.

My younger kid and older kid both loved the age appropriate facilities in the kids club. The pool/spa is located in the hotel across the street

There're two different parts on the hotel with different elevators. The one on the right takes you to the best part of the hotel, closer to the buffet restaurant and with much better rooms and views

We loved this quirky and affordable hotel. It's perfectly situated, just one row from the beach, close to the pier, and easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. Binz is quiet in December, but still charming

A few delays with finding my reservation but wit was sorted quickly. Rooms were okay, but I loved the long curtains and windows which gave it a good feel. A safe is provided and the beds and pillows were comfy

My second time there, came back because everything was perfect.

The breakfast was all around good, I was missing more heated food, like sausages and scrambled eggs already in the buffet, but the omelette station covered half of that

It's not always easy to travel alone with a dog, but here Scooby could come with me to breakfast, sleep in my room - and run around on the fantastic sandy beach outside

The breakfast buffet seemed a bit scattered and all over the place, on the first day, most of the food was empty when we arrived around 9 AM. It was crowded and loud, but that’s to be expected

Location is excellent, about 200m away from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the town proper. The room is big, has it's own kitchenette, dining area and living room with a pull-out sofa bed

Great hotel in very good location The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts

Value for money accommodation in charming Binz Surprising good hotel, considering the modest price and huge scale

It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. We even had a small balcony, looking on to the forest

But don't expect personal service - this is a HUGE place. And it's on the outskirts of Binz, about 15 minutes walk from the centre/pier. No breakfast provided - but plenty of other places, along the beach promenade

The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters
