Hotel Nordlicht in Schwerin

A privately owned hotel with thin walls and noisy cobblestone streets.

There's a risk of bumping your head on the stairs. They enthusiastically offered to help carry luggage, but just a few minutes later, no one was there!

If you need more light than just by the bed, bring a power strip.

Allergy-friendly bedding is available upon request; changing it must be arranged separately.

The furniture and dishes are mismatched, dated, but functional.

No bottled water in the room, no air conditioning, and no safe.

The windowless bathroom has inadequate ventilation via the light switch, and the toothbrush holder is made of hard plastic.

The wardrobe, kettle, and refrigerator (including a mini-freezer compartment) are all provided, but unfortunately, they were completely iced up.

The towels are rather worn and thin. Room cleaning includes emptying the trash, but glassware is only replaced upon request.

There's no smart TV, and cable streaming isn't possible because the input source was deactivated, and they refuse to change it!

The Wi-Fi is free but unstable, quite slow, and definitely not up-to-date.





```` Cleanliness: Artificial plants were dusty, there were old cobwebs in the corners of the room, someone else's long, dark hair was found, bedside lamps were dusty, the seating was stained, and there were scratches on the furniture. Overall, the room was clearly worn.

Free parking was available on a gravel area behind the house, but there was no guarantee of a space. Parking in the immediate vicinity was restricted to residents only.

Breakfast was served at a designated table with a set selection of pre-portioned items that varied slightly each day. The rolls were quickly baked and served in the freezer.
