This Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations in several key areas. The location was excellent, and I was particularly impressed by how clean everything was throughout the property. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in after standard hours without any hassle. The breakfast was great. Despite the language barrier—we don't speak German and not all staff spoke English—communication was never an issue. Everyone was patient and understanding, making our stay very comfortable. As a bonus, there's a restaurant with an outdoor patio right next door where I enjoyed a delicious beer.
Overall, a wonderful stay that I'd definitely book again

Traditional german restaurant with average food. Very good service. Very family friendly. Cannot judge on hotel rooms.

I had a pleasant stay at Gasthof Zur Guten Quelle. Overall, everything was good — the service was nice and the location is really convenient. Google Translate definitely helped, since the staff doesn’t speak English, but it all worked out fine.

Cozy place to eat, staff was very friendly and forthcoming, I had the veggie plate and I liked it. Not too many other vegetarian options though.

Stopped for one night and had a terrific experience. Quaint, cozy place in the heart of town. The room was standard - clean, moderately sized, with a comfortable bed and average bathroom. The staff really made this place, though! Though we only spoke limited German and they only spoke limited English, they were extremely kind and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The food is also quite good, and the breakfast (for those who stay at the Guesthouse) is prepared specially for each guest. Recommended!

zentral gelegen mir nur 6 Zimmern, gemütlich eingerichtetes Zimmer mit großem Bad, sehr freundliche Bedienung im Hotelbereich und im Gastronomiebereich

The service was friendly and the restroom clean, these are the positive points.
The vegetables came from the freezer and was cooked in too much water, so that neither bite nor any of the taste. The deep-fried vegetable cutlet was tasty, but not self-made, but produced industrially.
All in all, I will not stay there again, as I expect from a chef of a certain manual skill in his profession, and not that he just finished products gart, I can do it myself.

We were a long weekend in Schwerin and we felt a good source of very well-housed. Located in the centre super. Staff at Breakfast and in the Restaurant very friendly. Small point of criticism: I ordered a small plate of salad, which was the same one my friends as the dish got to your court. It looked very lean for me. Two small tomatoes extra have shown a very different picture. Also, for me, as no fish eaters and non-steak friend only the Vegivariante remained. A dish with poultry would also be quite nice.

On the occasion of the Fireworks display in the castle garden of Schwerin we were looking for a room, from which you could reach the Palace garden walk. The choice fell on the Hotel Zur guten Quelle. The house has only 6 rooms. Our room, number 6 is on the top floor, very large, with old beams and columns in the room. The bathroom is large, bright and friendly. The room was renovated in 2009 and very nicely equipped. Only the mattresses leave something to be desired. In conversation we learned that already are in planning. The Breakfast buffet was small and manageable, but!!! very appealing. The service is very friendly and the egg dishes warm, but requested and freshly prepared.
The location is great, the rooms, the Breakfast was delicious, the service was great, super friendly.... what more could you want??? Always happy!!! Thank You!

Netter, aufmerksamer Service und ein gutes, umfangreiches Angebot an Speisen und Getränken in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Allerdings wenig junges Publikum.
