Room was sound, all we needed was a bed for the night and do the job. The throw on the bed was a bit dirty but other than that was spot on.

Ideal for a short stay Great hotel for a short stay ……. Much better than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend for a few days. Hotel room was comfortable, had a small conservatory and had an excellent shower. The area around the hotel is quiet, but has a good train connection to Dortmund.

Very basic but clean and friendly.. unusual internal design with loafs of character. We only stayed one night but would have no hesitation staying again. Recommended

I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

Good value for money hotel This hotel is great value for money and whilst certainly not 5 star, it’s more than adequate for our needs. Single room is big enough and bed comfortable enough (another pillow would be nice). The shower is in a wet room and is fantastic. We had a great stay in this hotel! It was one of the places we stayed in during our honeymoon trip and they were so nice and they upgraded our room and even left us a personal handwritten note and played a little song when we arrived. The bed is super comfortable and the room is spacious. Also the tram stops right in front of it so it's super convenient, would definitely stay in it again ❤️

Nice and clean room, with a big TV. Super kind receptionist girl and hostess at the breakfast. The breakfast was sufficient and the layout of the restaurant was spacious. The lobby was super nice, modern, clean and luxurious. Had a great stay and definitely worth the price! The gym was also clean with a few machines, no music however. Good service, good facilities, breakfast was a bit limited in selection. I was satisfied.

The room's interior was modern and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and the bathroom was clean and easy to use. While parking reservations aren't possible, it's available for €12 per day if space is available, which I think is a reasonable price. Breakfast was a bit disappointing because the food was cold, but overall, the variety and quality were standard and satisfactory.

Nice rooms, good location, and a lovely foyer

The staff were friendly but I did get told off for using the lower door in order to avoid the steps but I explained that I suffer from knee stiffness. The breakfast was good but the room requires updating, the carpet was quite bad and there were no facilities in the room such as a mini fride

Stunning hotel Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful setting. The rooms are clean, spacious and food is served late. There is nothing but positives I can write about this hotel. Stunning and thanks to the team there that helped make my short stay so pleasant.

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel visiting from the U.K. Will always stay here when visiting Witten. Staff are excellent.

You will appreciate every single detail which you would normally not expect in a small Side walk hotel like this. It ticks most of the boxes like Radisson Blue would except having a mini bar, but the staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast fully equipped. It really was much better than expected. Cons: a bit far to the shopping street and weak WiFi in the room... but that's not even worth mentioning...

The Food was amazing! They were happy to accommodate and make the seasonal asparagus meal with a vegan sauce! The only thing was the old lady walking around and come really close to us and hovering in our personal Space 😭

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

As always, the food here was excellent and the atmosphere cozy. The Steak was cooked on point, and the idea was in a potato coat Served convincing. Also the salad tasted so good. Happy to recommend and only.

The property was conveniently located to the bus/train station. Within walking distance to many restaurants/bars and shopping. It was very noisy as there were groups of people getting off the busses ad 3am/4am yelling/chanting and waking us up.

Centrally located hotel directly at the main train station, currently undergoing renovations due to a change of ownership. Heating/air conditioning not working.

At 29 degrees the air conditioning didn't work in the whole hotel...etc.

The pictures taken by the hotel don't really reflect reality - we were there 3 times and never had a room that really looked like that. The location near the main train station is very central, and the bus station is also right in front of the hotel. This naturally attracts a corresponding clientele...when it's cold outside, the people disappear relatively quickly, but the warmer it gets, the "hotter...

We were positively surprised by this hotel. The breakfast buffet is small, but better than few 4 stars I have been at. The personal was extremely friendly. Making breakfast was really pleasing. The reception was very friendly, they gave us a useful tip to avoid a big group between 8 and 9 at breakfast. We booked for 4, we ate in 5, no problem. Ibis style is now in our preferred list.
