Nice area found it strange no microwave in kitchen plus noisy below because of supermarket at very early times frying pan and other pans need renewed in kitchen plus first night got smaller room because of mix-up then had to move next day staff working there helpful.

The hotel is situated above a supermarket named Lidl and a cafe. We frequented these places often. Just in front of the hotel there are bus terminals. Behind there is a tram terminal. We often travelled using this tram. There is also a river within 10 mins walk. We will sure stay here again in our next trip.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a good price. We definitely got value for money with our stay. Place was spacious, spotless and beds were extremely comfortable. And Lidl was just down the stairs. We will definitely come back again.

Very clean rooms. But unfortunately the climate in the hotel room was very poor. It was hot and humid. Also, in my opinion the pillows were too large and too small. Furthermore, the hotel itself and its facilities were outdated. Therefore, I would not recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum. The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast. I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come

The staff were friendly but I did get told off for using the lower door in order to avoid the steps but I explained that I suffer from knee stiffness. The breakfast was good but the room requires updating, the carpet was quite bad and there were no facilities in the room such as a mini fride

It's a great hotel. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. Nice and quiet. There is a gym on the 2nd floor, mainly cardio machines. Breakfast had a good choice. No food in the evening, which is a shame. It does a few snacks but no dinner menu.

Very quiet hotel on a public transit route, not far from the main train station. Check in is via screen with a virtual assistant. The hotel values conservation efforts, so hall lights are automated, and everything is digital, so there is no paper waste. The lobby is modern and appealing. Ice cream available for purchase, and there is a foosball table in the lobby. Everything was very clean.

Lovley Hotel- couldn't fault it. Nice location - you can take a tram to town that take 5 minutes. Nice toom and modern bathroom. We requested a cot for my daughter and it was not a problem to get it sorted.

Good hotel in centre of Bochum. We've been there for one night and all was good. Worker in reception can speak English. Rooms are clear but one thing that didn't satisfied us that was size of bathroom, it was too small and I think if closet was not so huge it has more space for bathroom. Location right next to the train station, so it's easy for connections. Parking is available for 9€ per day which is great for anyone traveling from out of town with a car and need a parking space while out and about on the public transport. Booked for 3 nights to attend a Rammstein concert in nearby Gelsenkirchen. A little out of the way (11km from Gelsenkirchen itself) but a really laid back atmosphere. As my German is very rusty, I was grateful to see that several members of reception spoke English. The service at the hotel was perfect. The receptionist could answer all my question to my satisfaction. The check-in was pretty fast. The Hotel is situated very close to my working place. Therefore I could save a lot of time to and from the hotel.

One good reason to stay here is if you're looking for a reasonable price of hotel with super easy access to Bochum Hauptbahnhof and easy to get food around and close to the Bochum City Center where you can find some shopping centers. Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Only 1 double bed no child bed. I asked to be moved no availability on rooms with 3 bed. I asked for a folding bed they didn't have any. So one of us had to sleep on the floor. The double bed had a single size duvet. Only thing I would say is room was clean and spacious. I wouldn't book again.

The room was exceptional. The bed very comfortable. The shower and bathroom were great. Just one issue that water from the shower leaked into the bathroom area for some reason. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Although I would suggest that the coffee they use should be a bit less bitter because the cappuccino and latte macchiato were too strong for us. All in all it is a wonderful hotel.

I asked for an early check in and the greek girl at the reception did her best to give me a room at 10.30 despite that check in was at 15.00. These are small details that make the next time I come back to Bochum I won't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Top service.

The room has a good air volume. The area has a good air quality. The air change rate is insufficient. It needs a 24/7 ACH system which potentially uses zero or low power. We’ll be visiting again this hotel in this area.

The first room of bunk beds was solid but other room of bunk beds was worse than the first one. Online booking is typically €25-€28 for a bed in multi-bed dorm but in person the person who bought my room was charged whole €42 for extending 1 night for bed in multi bed dorm room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stüttgens hotel in Velbert, especially the personal, individual approach. Very nice renovated building in a historic complex. Still very central location. Even the small rooms are really well divided, you don't miss anything. The breakfast was also very good.

Stayed here for some training recently and the hotel is great. It's modern and spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are incredibly helpful We had a dinner with a group of about 30 people on both nights we stayed and the food was excellent. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and they would make something for you if you asked I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Velbert

Beautiful, quiet hotel in Velbert's historic old town. A restored period building with beautiful rooms and new bathrooms. The stairs are somewhat steep, making them only partially accessible for people with disabilities. Upon request, we were also offered a la carte meals in the evening, which were delicious.
