I have stayed at zum neuling for the last 4-5 years whilst visiting family in bochum.
The staff are very welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. They are also good to have a chat with at the bar on a quiet evening.
The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and offer an outstanding continental breakfast.
I can guarantee that i will be staying religiously now for many years to come.

Very good dinner, price was resonable and few times i had this good food. 10 / 10, would visit again anytime
As always, the food here was excellent and the atmosphere cozy. The Steak was cooked on point, and the idea was in a potato coat Served convincing. Also the salad tasted so good. Happy to recommend and only.
We are become as the Ruhr valley cyclists on the recommendation on this Inn/Hotel/3-star Restaurant attention, because we were on the actual path in the Bochum City.Arrived one was waiting for us in a Friendly, family-run hotel, in the we night have eaten.Home-style cuisine, classic PP For every taste, even vegetarian, is to find something.The rooms are sufficient.The bathroom was clean and well equipped.recommended for a double room with Breakfast.
My favorite hotel, as it is of the Schmidt family so that you feel comfortable and after so many Nights at home!

Operation Top - mounted-Friendly, really very nice.
Atmosphere - Super cozy, very well maintained.

Rabbit / cabbage coat / caramelized nuts
Goose liver truffle / dark bread / spiced Apple
Veal cheeks Sous vide / celery-puree / Pancetta
Stuffed Cherry Tomato / Goat Cheese / Honey / Vanilla
Salmon rösti - grilled salmon escalope with spinach and Hollandaise
AU gratin potato cakes, served with a salad bouquet
Escalope of veal with béarnaise Sauce, potato croquettes and endive salad
Dessert variation with a dessert wine.
Each Sauce was homemade. The hash Browns, as well as the croquettes.
The spoon tasting of us were fishing eight and we could not resist. This there were actually, only to the menu merry-go-round, but even that was not an issue.
That is the easy/Friendly Service has spread in a good mood. Since we had eaten really well, we had to see the dessert menu. The dessert variation was a real Highlight. There was homemade ice cream, chocolates, small pieces of Cake. To nen delicious dessert wine.
