According to the description, the single room should have been 24 square meters. In reality, it was at most 12 square meters. After my complaint, it was now listed as 20 square meters. The Wi-Fi frequently dropped out. To take a hot shower, I had to wait at least five minutes for the water to warm up.
Hotel Stadt Emmerich is nicely located close to the actual center with easy access to the pedestrian high street and the promenade by the river. The room was newly renovated, clean, and with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good standard continental. There is good parking in the yard behind the hotel. Value-for-money is good.
