I've never been received with more hospitality in a hotel, the whole staff is lovely, super friendly and they really think along. We arrived by bike that we could safely store in the parking garage nextdoor. The rooms have sparkling water and some snacks waiting for you. Breakfast and dinner were good.

This was a really bad experience for me and my friends.
1-the lady on the first day said breakfast was included when we asked. If you don't speak English well enough to understand that question, have a piece of paper that says it.
2-reaaaaally bad bed. I found it imposible to sleep. They are small with small bedding (no extra blankets) and the pillows are from 1995 at least.

Homely and friendly hotel with great traditional German food.

nice staff, decent breakfast, room were older but OK, pretty close to airport and Messe, almost in the centre of Ratingen
