Langerbein in Hamm

We were given a very small, claustrophobic double room with creaking floors and a bathroom where it was impossible to get past another person. The room was stuffy, you could hear everything on the other side, and I only feel sorry for the person next door, as we often returned after midnight, and the creaking floor was sure to wake our neighbors. Getting to the room required a steep staircase. Sleeping on the pillows was impossible. The bathroom lacked a shelf for toiletries. The room was clean on the outside, but the floor was black (I wiped the floor after showering, and the toilet paper was black), and the shower was riddled with mold (the owner said the hotel was brand new and had invested a lot of money in it – I guess we got an old room out of spite). Breakfast - a poor choice for vegetarians, but the coffee was good. At breakfast, when I took four small sausages to my room, the staff asked me why I needed them. I replied that they were for the dog that was with me. The staff told me that the food was for guests (the dog was also a guest). As I mentioned, I didn't finish them. This situation was both embarrassing and funny for me, as I would have been embarrassed to approach someone and tell them not to take four sausages to their room. I even wanted to buy them back, but after that, I decided to leave early. On the plus side, there were shops nearby, a fridge in the room, and parking.

Small uncomfortable rooms,no bed but a Schlafcuch, no food in the house! Loads, unfortunately not to Stay.
