Just returned from a long weekend at Waldhotel Einstein with Maartje & Erwin. They are such hospitable people. Always up for a friendly chat, and everything was arranged perfectly again, as always. The food was excellent once more. There were 9 riders, and afterwards I actually heard nothing but positive things about Einstein from everyone. We are already looking ahead to our next visit to Einstein. Waldhotel Einstein (Erwin & Maartje) deserves a huge thumbs up from us.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel last weekend. Clean, quiet rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner, and comfortable beds. The hotel is run by an extremely friendly and hospitable couple who make you feel at home. Thank you for the fantastic stay, the great motorcycle routes, and the enjoyable evenings!

Very nice and quiet place with nice view. Easy access to many hiking trails. The owners are very friendly. Feels like home 😉

The host was impossible!
They mean we have to stick to the rules. Of course! But if we are not allowed in the breakfast room then you can either offer us a packed lunch or have breakfast in your room!

I would like to not give a star, but that is not possible.
My problem was quite simply I had a badly moldy room. This mold did not develop over a short period of time but has probably been there for a long time.
After I expressed my displeasure with the operator and asked for another room, I was informed about the black mold in the shower. This was there too but didn't bother me as much as the mold over the window. I conclude from this that I only made the operator aware of the fact that, in addition to black mold, there is also green mold on the walls above the window when I spoke.
The worst part is that I was coerced. to sign a note, with which I agree to spend the night in the mold room. Otherwise I would have been homeless for the night. Although the rooms next door were freshly occupied and unoccupied. But I was refused to take one of these rooms.
I cannot and will not recommend this hotel and am appalled by the way they treated us. Other visitors had found traces of mold that were simply painted over.

Nice environment to ride a motorcycle.
The 2 rooms we had were dated.
The beds (or own the slatted frame / conversion) creaked with every movement. The old picture tube is very small at 25 cm.
Restaurant was closed due to circumstances, so I can't say anything about it. Had expected more understanding from the owner, since we as guests still have to eat during the stay.
Breakfast and breakfast area was clean neat and simple.
The hostess was attentive and customer-friendly, but the owner was a bit idiosyncratic and not to say hello back in the morning, we find very unprofessional. The experience in the hotel did not do us any good.
Also as it turned out at home, the hotel had fallen short on the bill. Fortunately short, but a bill just has to be right.
Hence 2 stars on our behalf.
