Reasonable price and located very close to the train station. The staff were helpful and friendly. The route from the station to the hotel is obscured by trees and can be unsafe when walking late at night.

Good value and convenient location
Near to the station, so easy access to a lot of nearby cities. Modern room and clean shower room. Breakfast was worth the additional fee and the staff were very welcoming.

Good hotel not far from station
Clean and efficient, a 5 minute walk from main station and 10 minutes from main shopping area/city centre. A standard business hotel with friendly staff and good value for money.

We stayed there just for one night for the Essen Board Game convention and everything was great. The room was clean and spacious and the stuff was very kind to answer any question we had. It seems to attract lots of gamers during that period and we were lucky enough to meet some famous people from the board gaming community staying there. We stayed on the ground floor just next to the breakfast area and it was a bit noisy in the morning but that wasn't a problem for us.

Really friendly, helpful staff, comfortable and sizeable room. Breakfast buffet was excellent for an additional, reasonable, fee. Close to train station and the opera house, was very happy to stay here.
