Reviews
The rooms have heaters but no air conditioner. Not ideal during summer heat waves. However the rooms were clean and the bathroom spacious. For the price I can't complain.
I don't really expect much from a hotel. But cleanliness is paramount.
There were tons of cobwebs in the corners, which had probably been there forever. They really could have been cleaned up.
The bathroom was incredibly small. The shower was so cramped you almost felt claustrophobic because you could barely turn around.
The sink had a crack.
The shower itself was also quite old and dirty and worn in the corners.
The bathroom wasn't exactly eco-friendly either. There were plastic cups wrapped in plastic. Each cup contained two small samples of shampoo/shower gel, which wouldn't have been enough if we'd needed to use them.
There weren't enough electrical outlets.
There were three of us, and we only had four outlets available in total.
Two were by the bed—one of which was occupied by the only bedside lamp. And 2 were connected to an extension cord, which, although it was routed over the door, simply hung down under the TV.
The wallpaper, as you can see in some of the photos, was very busy. Black, gray, and white stripes. If you looked at it for too long, it felt like the wallpaper was moving. Unpleasant.
The beds were quite worn in places, and the bed frames were very saggy.
When we returned to the hotel from the concert around 11 p.m., there were loud, drunk men in the restaurant who were a bit scary for us girls—we could hear them all the way to our room.
When we checked out the next day around noon, we were told that they had been waiting for us for over an hour because check-out was only until 11 a.m.
However, our email stated that check-out was until noon. Perhaps they should double-check this or inform guests at check-in about the exact check-out time.
It was acceptable for one night. However, I wouldn't want to sleep there again.
What I can say, though, is that the woman who runs it is very nice.
