Went to see the Schumacher Exhibition at Moyorworld, and it was fantastic! Great videos and biography screens you can watch, and get up close to some of the many cars in the collection. A very cool.place to see even if the exhibition wasn't on. The cafe bar underneath is very cool 😎

Definitely worth a visit when in Köln. We went on a Sunday where a meet was also being hosted outside, giving even more cars to see. Schumacher's private collection is a great experience.

Great place for car fans! Especially Schumacher fans

Motorworld Cologne is in cool modern glass buildings next to the old Cologne-Butzweilerhof Airport. This airport was Cologne’s main airport a long time ago (opened around 1920s, used for flights until about 1950s, and closed fully in the 1980s). There’s even an old Fokker F-27 plane parked outside — looks awesome!

Inside you’ll find:
- A small collection of cool cars with explanations
- V8 Motorworld Hotel (looks nice)
- A few restaurants — the steak place Abacco’s is really good!

But the best part is the Michael Schumacher exhibition — it’s free and amazing!
Why is it here? Because Schumacher grew up very close by in Kerpen, and this place loves cars and racing, so his family put his things here.

You can see:
- His helmets, gloves, racing suits and other things he used himself
- Cars he drove during his career
- His Formula 1 cars from when he won 7 world championships

It’s super detailed and emotional — feels like you’re close to his story.

If you love cars or Formula 1, come here just for the Schumacher part. Totally worth the trip to Cologne!

Motorworld exceeded expectations. Three impressive halls filled with automotive history and performance, and the Schumacher private collection is truly special.
For the full experience, you can jump into a real race car simulator — a must for anyone who wants to feel like they’re on the track.
You can easily spend half a day here, and with multiple restaurants (including vegan-friendly options) plus easy access by tram or car, it’s a great all-around destination.

Very nice hotel ， love it

This is a very unique and interesting hotel. It offers very good food options, but staff attendance could be better.

Car-themed hotel. There is a free car showroom next to it. The room is nice.
