We were only there for one night but everything was excellent. The restaurant was very good and the little bar area was tiny but perfect for us. The beds we exceptionally comfortable and the parking was right outside and very convenient for getting our bags in. We enjoyed the experience and recommend this place to anyone.

Rooms need to be updated. The photos on the website make the rooms look nicer than they are. Common areas like lobby and lounge are nice and updated. Parking area is small and not enough parking for guests

Excellent value for money. Our room was super calm and clean. The breakfast is a well diversified buffet. It is ideally located near A6 motorway.

This hotel is a great place to stay for business or pleasure. Parking is not free but you can park outside on the street for free. In order to exit the hotel parking lot you need to acquire a coin from the front desk. No big deal, it feels awkward when they are busy and need to ask for a coin to leave. I would stay here again, it’s a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel with an excellent staff. No matter the hours they’re friendly and helpful. The hotel is super clean. The breakfast in the morning is available from 630 until 10 during the week 11 on the weekend and has more than enough to fuel you for the day. A very nice hotel. Clean room, friendly staff. Good wife, and breakfast. For me I would have preferred foam pillows, and I feel the towels let the hotel down. Very thin, rough and cheap, these need replacing for larger more comfortable ones. Overall a great stay.

Room was fine, Staff did their best but heating in the room not working and i wasn’t allowed to change rooms. The gave me a small portable heater that works some of the time. Not good enough for the price paid

It is a nice hotel, but the pictures look better than in person. The bartenders could be more attentive, but it was overall a good stay. It’s a great location and probably the nicest hotel in the area.

Great hotel for quick trip. The staff was great, the room was great. My only wish is that it had a proper stand up enclosed shower. It had a bath tub with a hose and the water goes everywhere. The wonderful part is the the bathroom area has heated floors. Now I have to add this to my own home. Lots of food options nearby.

Very attentive staff and the rooms were nice. AC worked well. I was surprised about the quality of the included breakfast - different days had changing options and there was great labelling for dietary restrictions.

Breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. The room is not just extremely clean. But it is not dirty either. The bedding is very comfortable and clean. The hot water comes out very well and there is a lot of parking space, which is nice.

The rooms are very quiet and clean. The staff are very accommodating and will address any room related concerns. Bedding and towels are replaced every 3 days during your stay.

Very nice staff, comfortable and fairly modern rooms. The only downside was the size of the duvets, which were definitely too small.

Excellent small hotel there everyone is local and friendly it sits right across from Kaiserslautern’s famous Fruchthalle, a beautiful building used for cultural events, all right in the old town. The area is lovely, with plenty to do and lots of food options. Highly recommended!

Staying at hotel frohlech We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. This is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We went here for dinner and the restaurant was very clean and the hostess was welcoming. Our service was great. One person had the fish which was really good and fresh, the steak was done exactly right. Finished with fresh made sorbet. Nice relaxing dinner.

This place was ten miles east of our town and we selected it randomly. Overall our stay was surprisingly good. Our very clean double room on the 2nd floor was ok but we had an end unit and lots of street noise. No air conditioner or fan so it was a trade off between noise and fresh air. Although it on the outskirts of the city it is a lovely, friendly hotel where you are made to feel really welcome. The rooms are kept really clean and well maintained. It is quite close to the University and about a 10 minute walk from the station. You have to walk into the city for food. About a 20 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A very kind woman gave me a personal tour, walked me to my room, and showed me how everything worked. It was very quaint and pleasant. I had a great stay.

Was my first time to Germany and was there for work. The hotel was very nice and the couple who own and run it gave it a nice Bed and Breakfast feel even though it is a nice full size hotel. I will definitely stay there again if I travel to the area in the future.

Went for a Kaiserslautern game, hotel was a good location for me as about 20 odd minute walk from the stadium and less then 10 minute walk from the train station

They asked if I would like to see the available rooms when checking in. I chose not to and took the first available room which was small compared to another I saw later. Beautiful hotel. Only spoke to staff on phone to get check in instructions. They were easy but had trouble locating the room, there was no number on the door. Our room was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 little kids, they even had a pack n play ready. Would definitely stay here again.

Ok place to stay. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so it was a little messy outside. The rooms were a bit dingy, and the bathrooms were dated. I couldn't turn up the heat. Also, the towels were skimpy, and the bed was a little worn. Maybe the renovations will continue inside, too.

The hotel is good, but there is no air conditioning, in summer is a disaster

Easy check in rooms exactly as the website, beautiful modern 1 bedroom suite; downside no real closet space to hang your clothes only two bedside closets for foldable clothes and a 1/2size comforter. What's that about I have NO IDEAL. Luckily I traveled with my favorite blanket. Other than that no complaints, so far. If I don't update this post, all went well.

I stayed here and I was delighted the bed was super comfortable and the room spotless … it’s very very central so was worried about the noise but it was very quiet I thing triple glazing . It was a pretty rough check in as there is no staff available at night. The Check ‘n charged me for nine vehicles when I only had one and the after hours phone number was disconnected. However, in the morning, the staff fixed it and the staff for the rest of the days were just amazing. I greatly appreciate every single one of them. It made my stay nice there. Thank you.

We could walk to the central train station in 8 minutes. Buses are also available there. We took a Flixbus to and from the Frankfurt Airport. There was shopping within walking distance; bakeries, laundrymat, grocery store, ice cream and pizza. A longer walk took us to sight-seeing locations like the Japanese Garden. The morning breakfast is worth the cost. The staff are professional and helpful.

The B&B is a great alternative to more expensive hotel options in Kaiserslautern. I didn't need a fancy hotel stay with a spa and all the trimmings; I just wanted to stay overnight and have breakfast. The B&B was perfect for that!
