Reviews
I would stay here again, it’s a great place to stay.
The rooms are very clean, tidy, and nicely designed. I got a spacious room with a large bathroom. My stay was two weeks long, and I requested room cleaning either through the reception or by directly arranging it with the housekeeper, which worked out great. The room has a kettle, but no fridge — it would be nice to have one, especially for guests staying longer. Most TV channels were unavailable, but that wasn’t a big issue.
A major downside is the poor sound insulation between rooms, which should definitely be improved. One night, the room next door was occupied by a couple who had a very passionate night and morning. It was quite uncomfortable for neighboring guests. The walls are probably made of plasterboard, which offers very poor (or almost no) soundproofing — a shame, as it really lowers my overall impression.
When booking through Booking.com, I chose the option with free cancellation and payment upon arrival, which was intentionally a bit more expensive for my employer. I chose that option in case our plans changed. However, the hotel charged one night to my credit card without my consent and without any prior warning on the Booking.com page, which is unfair and unprofessional behavior toward customers. After my complaint, they refunded the money, but only after a few days.
The location is fine, on the edge of the city, but everything is close by car. Even on foot, it’s not far to the center — maybe 30 minutes, which wasn’t a problem for me. The hotel has a large free parking lot. I advise future guests not to pay for hotel parking, as you don’t actually get anything for it — you’re just wasting money. In my opinion, the hotel should either reduce the parking fee or make it free for guests, but that’s up to them.
Despite the issues I’ve mentioned, I think the price matches the overall quality. Personally, I would consider staying here again. My criticism is meant to be constructive — to help improve things, not just to complain. I believe that if these issues were fixed, the hotel’s rating would be much higher.
