Was informed check in was at another hotel, but when we got there we were told they had a reception open at our hotel for this day after all.

The hotel itself is fine and located right next to the Nürburgring. The shower wasn't completely clean, but the reception staff quickly and promptly addressed it. Kudos.
The only downside is the parking. Yes, guests can park on the hotel grounds, but it costs €20! Ridiculous price!

A basic but decent accommodation for easy access to Nürburgring. Breakfast was at Congress Hotel right opposite the hotel. Inconvenient when it rains.

Ideal location, close to all the action. Excellent selection for breakfast. Very clean and modern Only minor negatives - pay for car park and pillows and mattress could be improved.

This hotel is handy for the track but that's it really. The room was OK but clearly that proximity boosted the price and I suppose that's to be expected. The experience brought Travelodge to mind. There was no bar or evening restaurant in the hotel but the Bitburger Brauhaus was nearby. However the food was unfortunately limited and missed classic brauhaus delights such as Schweinshaxe and bratkartoffeln. For an evening beer their was a vending machine (!) with no bar fridge in the room. No air con either.

The Dorint is better, if you can get in. Although Lindner fans we won't be returning to this particular hotel. Sorry!
